The "Meta" Reset: Why Your Old Base is Holding You Back
If you're still holding onto last month's "god-tier" pets, that's probably why progress feels slow.
The game scaled up a lot recently. With player counts going past 100k, the devs clearly pushed new pets way higher. Old Dragons might still look strong—but compared to what's in the shop now, they fall off pretty quickly.
At some point you just have to restart your setup instead of trying to fix it.
- The First Move: Yeah, it feels bad—but selling your old units is usually the better option. Keeping them "just in case" tends to slow things down.
- Fill All Slots First: Try to get all 30 slots filled with the best multipliers you can access right now. Don't get stuck chasing perfect rarity.
- Stable Income: Once your base is full, your income becomes more consistent. It's not exciting, but it gives you enough to move forward.
Breaking the 400 Million Wall: Reaching the Celestial Area
A lot of players underestimate how important this part is.
Your pets affect how fast you earn, but your Kick Power decides what kind of rewards you even have access to.
If you're still landing in early zones, you're basically locked out of better drops.
- The Celestial Threshold: Most players who reach Celestial are somewhere around 300M–400M Kick Power. It's not exact, but that's the general range.
- The Power Grind: This part is honestly just grind. Most people leave an auto-clicker running for squats. There isn't really a shortcut here.
- When to Use Luck: Save your best luck boosts for when you're already hitting Celestial consistently. Using them too early usually doesn't help much.
The Rainbow Strategy: Why One Strong Pet Changes Everything
This is where a lot of players slow themselves down without realizing it.
Upgrading everything evenly sounds safe, but it's usually not the fastest way forward.
A lot of top players just focus on one really strong unit.
- Find a High-End Drop: Look for Celestial pets with something like Rainbow or Shadow. They're rare, so it may take a while.
- Focus Your Upgrades: Once you get one, it's usually better to put most of your resources into it instead of spreading upgrades everywhere.
- Huge Jump in Income: A fully upgraded Rainbow Celestial can carry your entire setup. One slot can end up making more than everything else combined.
Maintaining Your Spot: Staying Competitive After You Get There
Getting onto the leaderboard is already hard. Staying there is harder.
Every update can shift things again, and if you're not ready, you can fall behind pretty quickly.
- Don't Spend Everything: Keep some currency saved. New pets can suddenly be much stronger, and you'll want to switch quickly.
- Think in Terms of Gains: If something clearly boosts your income, go for it. If the difference is small, it's usually not worth it.
- Ignore Looks: Your base doesn't need to look good. It just needs to generate as much as possible.
- Check Rankings Often: Watch the lower end of the leaderboard. If players are catching up, you'll likely need another upgrade push soon.
If you're aiming for leaderboard, this is roughly how most high-level players are approaching the game right now.
