Roblox Kick a Lucky Block: Easy Volcano Event Guide
The big Update 5 is here, and it brings an exciting new Volcano Event to Kick a Lucky Block! This event happens for everyone in the server at the same time, giving you a chance to collect special event money, upgrade your stats, and get awesome limited-time items.
This guide will show you exactly how the event works and the best ways to get rewards without wasting your time!
1. Event Basics (When & Where)
The Volcano Event starts automatically on a regular schedule. You will want to be ready in the game before it begins so you don't miss a second!

2. Volcanic Orbs: How to Farm Them Fast
Volcanic Orbs are the special coins you need for this event. You cannot buy them with regular in-game cash; you have to collect them by playing during the event.
The Basic Gameplay Steps
- Kick Your Block: When the 10-minute event is active, kick your Lucky Block as far as you can and wait for it to open up.
- Watch for the Tsunami: As soon as the giant tsunami wall appears, turn around immediately and start running back toward your home base.
- Grab the Shards: While you are running back, small Volcanic Shards will pop up all over the ground. Just run over them to pick them up! By default, every 1 shard you touch gives you 1 Volcanic Orb.
Top Tips to Get More Orbs
Since you only get 10 minutes to farm every 2 hours, use these two smart tricks to get way more orbs:
- Save Your Orbs for Upgrades First: When you first start, don't waste your orbs on temporary potions at the shop. Instead, take your orbs to the NPC standing behind the shop and buy permanent shard upgrades. This will make you earn orbs much faster for the rest of the event!
- Upgrade Your Kick Power: If you haven't maxed out your normal Kick Power yet, keep working on it. A stronger kick sends your block further away, which means you have a much longer walk back to your base. A longer walk back means more space for shards to spawn on the ground!
3. Volcano Shop & NPC Upgrade Lists
You can spend your hard-earned Volcanic Orbs at two places: the front Volcano Shop counter or with the Upgrade NPC hiding directly behind the shop.
Volcano Shop (Potions & Blocks)
The main shop counter sells helpful potions and special blocks. All potions you buy here will last for 10 minutes.

NPC Upgrades (Permanent Event Buffs)
If you talk to the NPC behind the shop, you can spend your orbs on permanent upgrades that last through the event.

4. How to Get the Rare Volcanic Mutation
If you want your base to look awesome with the exclusive Volcanic Mutation items, you have to follow these specific steps:
- The Secret Requirement: You cannot get this mutation just by kicking blocks normally at the start. You must first save up 20 Volcanic Orbs, talk to the NPC behind the shop, scroll to the bottom of the menu, and buy Unlock Volcanic Mutation.
- Start Kicking: After you buy the unlock, go kick your Lucky Blocks during the 10-minute event. Every time a block opens, you now have a random chance to get a special Volcanic Mutation version of the reward!
- Boost Your Luck: If you keep getting unlucky, spend more orbs on the NPC's Mutation Chance upgrade to make the rare items drop more often.
Note: The game developers haven't shared the exact percentage or exact math for the drop rates, so the exact luck numbers are hidden, but upgrading definitely helps!
