Mutations & Mutate Machine
Golden, Diamond, and Rainbow can spawn on map eggs or come from the Mutate Machine. Lava, Hacker, and Candy only appear during timed events.
Mutations overview
Six mutations: Golden, Diamond, and Rainbow from random eggs or the Mutate Machine; Lava, Hacker, and Candy from timed events only. Mutated pets pay more Cash than base forms.
Mutated animals earn more Cash than the same base form. Get mutations from random map eggs, timed weather events, or the Mutate Machine beside the Sell Shop on the left edge of the Safe Zone.
All mutations
Machine-capable: Golden, Diamond, Rainbow. Event-only: Lava (~12%/25s), Hacker (~10%/25s), Candy (~15%/25s). Events at :15 and :45 for about 5m20s.
Weather events open at :15 and :45 each hour and last about 5 minutes 20 seconds. Stay in the game for the full window. Most 25-second checks miss at these rates.

Mutate Machine
Safe Zone left edge near Sell Shop. Feed three same-species, same-variant pets (weight can differ). Costs Cash. Usually returns Golden; three Goldens can yield Diamond. Cannot create event mutations.
- Submit three animals of the same species and the same mutation variant
- Weight can differ. Mixing normal with mutated pets is rejected
- Rejection text: All 3 Animals Must Be the Same Variant!
- Each use costs Cash and consumes all three pets
- Rarer inputs take longer. Results are usually Golden, with Diamond or Rainbow possible
- Three Golden pets can produce a Diamond result
- Lava, Hacker, and Candy cannot come from the machine
- Interact with the Mutate Machine near the Sell Shop
- Fill all three slots with matching species and variant
- Pay the Cash cost to start
- Wait out the mutation timer
- Collect the mutated pet

Can I mix different mutations in the machine?
No. All three pets must share the same variant. One Golden with two normal pets fails the same-variant check.
When do Lava, Hacker, and Candy eggs spawn?
Only during their matching events at :15 and :45 past each hour, for about 5 minutes 20 seconds, with the spawn chances in the table above.
