Hatched animals fill your Pen, earn cash (including offline), and unlock Animal Index rewards. The loop also calls out rare sizes, Mythic eggs, and secret animals. Gold and Purple Aurora are the mutations covered here.
Eggs come from steal runs. Zone order sits on areas.
Animal Index
The Animal Index sits on the right-side HUD next to Shop. Open it after new hatches and claim rewards. Reward tiers inside the panel are not listed here. Index progress sits beside liking the game and joining the AnimalByte group.

Mythic, secret, rare sizes
Mythic eggs, secret animals, and rare sizes are separate tracks from Gold and Purple Aurora mutations. Do not fold them into one tier list.
Mutations
Gold multiplies at 4×. Purple Aurora multiplies at 2×. Ignore Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald ladders from other Roblox games.

Gold Mutation Machine
- Collect five identical base pets
- Go to the Mutation Machine in the Pen by the Coils shop
- Insert all five pets
- Wait for the machine timer
- Claim the Gold pet
During Cash Rush (2× cash), selling pets and clearing Pen income is stronger. Prefer sales in that window when you already planned to sell.

FAQ
What is the best mutation?
Gold at 4× beats Purple Aurora at 2×. Aurora hatches can also roll Gold+Aurora together.
Is Purple Aurora only from events?
Purple Aurora eggs come from the Purple Aurora event and carry a purple aura. Event timers sit on the events page.
Can a hatch roll Gold and Aurora together?
Yes. Aurora event hatches can roll Gold+Aurora. Treat it as a possible roll, not a sure drop.
Are rare sizes the same as mutations?
No. Rare sizes, Mythic eggs, and secret animals are listed separately from Gold and Purple Aurora.
Should I wait for Cash Rush before selling?
If Cash Rush is live and you planned to sell anyway, yes. Do not stall forever waiting for the next rotation if you need Pen space.
