Overview
Brainrots are passive income units in Kick a Lucky Block. Each Brainrot generates a fixed amount of income per second and contributes to the player's total economy.
Progression is based on replacing lower-tier Brainrots with higher-tier ones that provide higher base earnings.
What are Brainrots?
Brainrots are collectible units that generate passive income over time.
- Has a fixed Base Earnings value ($/s)
- Belongs to a defined rarity tier
- Contributes continuously to total income
- Can be replaced by higher-tier Brainrots during progression
They form the core economic system of the game.
How Brainrots work
Brainrots generate passive income based on their Base Earnings value per second.
Core behavior:
- Each Brainrot generates income independently
- Total income is the sum of all active Brainrots
- Higher rarity Brainrots have higher Base Earnings
- Progression focuses on replacing lower-tier units with higher-tier ones
Where to Get Brainrots in Kick a Lucky Block
Brainrots in Kick a Lucky Block are primarily obtained by kicking Lucky Blocks, which travel based on the player's kick power and land in different zones that determine the rarity of the reward. Higher kick power allows players to reach further zones, which in turn unlocks access to higher-tier Brainrots.
After a Lucky Block lands and a Brainrot is generated, players must successfully return it to the safe zone before the tsunami catches them; otherwise, the reward is lost. Once secured, the Brainrot can be placed on the player's base, where it begins generating passive income per second based on its rarity.
Some Brainrots may also appear with mutations, which apply additional multipliers to their base earnings and significantly increase their value. Overall, the system is built around a loop of kicking Lucky Blocks, reaching rarity-based zones, securing the reward, and deploying Brainrots on the base for income generation, with progression steadily expanding access to higher-value Brainrots through increased kick power and zone reach.

Progression Insight
Brainrots are structured around a tier-based progression system where each rarity represents a meaningful increase in income efficiency rather than a linear upgrade.
Progression is defined by clear economic breakpoints between tiers:
- Common → Rare: introduces early-game income scaling and replaces starter units quickly
- Rare → Epic: establishes the first noticeable efficiency gap in earnings per second
- Epic → Legendary: marks a major progression shift where income scaling becomes significantly faster
- Mythic → Secret: introduces high-value Brainrots with strong income separation from mid-tier units
- Divine → OG: major pre–Update 4 ceiling; Chillin Chilli tops OG base $/s
- OG → Celestial → Eternal: current endgame path (Update 4); trading helps complete Eternal Index
Each tier transition increases the efficiency gap, making progression more dependent on replacement strategy rather than accumulation.
Highest Value Brainrots
Base Index: Chillin Chilli leads documented OG base income at $220,000/s. Endgame: Eternal and heavily mutated Celestial units exceed OG once Astral/Phantom/Volcanic multipliers apply.
| Brainrot | Base Earnings |
|---|---|
| Chillin Chilli | $220,000/s |
| Compactororni Diskaloni | $135,000/s |
| Cappuccino Clownino | $135,000/s |
| Blackhole Goat | $125,000/s |
| Karkerkar Kurkur | $120,000/s |
Gameplay Strategy
Brainrot progression is primarily driven by tier efficiency and replacement timing rather than long-term stacking of low-value units.
- Prioritize upgrading to higher-tier Brainrots instead of accumulating low-tier units
- Mid-game progression provides the most significant improvement in income scaling
- Late game is focused on optimizing efficiency through higher-tier replacements
- Endgame: push into Celestial Zone, then Eternal drops and trading (Update 4); farm Volcano Event currency for Volcanic mutations (Update 5)
Overall progression efficiency is determined by how quickly players transition between rarity tiers.
Strategy Note
For optimal income growth, focus on consistent tier upgrades and efficient replacement cycles as stronger Brainrots become available.
Brainrots FAQ
What are Brainrots in Kick a Lucky Block?
Brainrots are passive income units that generate currency every second based on rarity.
How do Brainrots generate income?
Each Brainrot produces a fixed Base Earnings value per second.
What is the strongest Brainrot?
Among standard Index tiers, Chillin Chilli leads OG base income at $220,000/s. Eternal-class units from Update 4 (e.g. Baba Yaga) and mutation stacking can far exceed OG base values.
Do higher rarity Brainrots always perform better?
Yes, higher rarity generally provides significantly higher income scaling.
Should I keep lower-tier Brainrots?
They are usually temporary and replaced as progression advances.
When does progression slow down?
Most players experience slowdown between Legendary and Mythic tiers.
Is OG tier the endgame?
OG was the pre–Update 4 ceiling. Celestial Zone drops and Eternal-class Brainrots (Update 4) sit above OG for current endgame progression.
Do Brainrots stack?
Yes, all Brainrots contribute simultaneously to total income.
What is the most important stage in progression?
Mid-game (Epic to Legendary) has the highest impact on long-term scaling.
Are Brainrots enough for maximum income?
No, long-term efficiency depends on both tier progression and system multipliers if available.
