Requirements and steps to unlock gifting in-game.

Gifting Was Removed (Update 3)
The in-game gifting system was removed in the Weather Machine update (May 9, 2026). Players now exchange Brainrots through the dedicated trading system introduced shortly after. The 2-day unlock steps below are kept for historical reference only.

The Problem: "User's Gifting is Locked"
Have you tried to gift a Brain or a boost to a friend only to see a red "Locked" message? Many players assume their game is broken or that they have not reached a high enough level.
The truth is: Your game is fine. This is a built-in security measure to ensure accounts are active and legitimate before they can participate in the gifting economy.
The Solution: The "2-Day" Rule
Unlocking the gifting feature does not require grinding or completing quests. It is purely based on real-world time.
- Step 1: Initial Login - You must have joined and played the game at least once to establish your account history.
- Step 2: The Daily Reset - You do not need to stay online for 24 hours. You simply need to wait for the real-world day to change (Daily Reset).
- Step 3: Re-login - Return to the game on the next calendar day. Once you join the server on Day 2, the gifting system will automatically verify your status and unlock.
