Beginner Guide
First sale loop, gold and diamond potatoes, early buys, and what to do before night.

Your first shift
Land one sale before you buy anything. Then spend on peel speed and automation so night is less frantic.
Night survival is on Night & Anomalies. Class rolls are on classes. Redeem status is on codes.
First sale steps
Pile to peel to fry to serve. Cash on delivery.
- Join and spawn. Pick a team, wait through the short countdown, and spawn at your fry shop.
- Grab a potato. Take one from the pile outside. Finish what you are holding before picking another if the game says your hands are full.
- Peel completely. Use the peeling station until the peel is gone. A half-peeled potato will not cook.
- Fry and collect. Drop the peeled potato in the fryer, wait for fries, then pick them up.
- Serve at the window. Hand fries to the waiting customer. Cash lands on delivery. First sales often pay about 20 to 22 cash.
The photo above is a live handoff: fries in the bucket, Give prompt at the window, Emergency button beside the shutter.
First-hour checklist
Habits that keep early runs alive.
- Complete one full sale before buying anything
- Prioritize gold and diamond (blue/crystal) potatoes when you see them
- Cook a larger batch while a customer still has patience (about 50 seconds)
- Cross the street only after watching for cars
- Be indoors before 8:00 p.m.
- Keep searching potato piles for the key between sales
Early buy order
Typical early costs. Recheck live shop cards after patches.
| Upgrade | Cost | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Conveyor | About $60 | Rolls potatoes indoors. First step toward automation. |
| Bigger peeler / peel amount | Early cash | Speeds up hand peeling, the slow early bottleneck. |
| Bucket | About $100 | Starts holding 3. Upgrade capacity toward 7 in Tools. |
| Auto Peeler | About $500 | First real milestone. Ends hand peeling. |
| Potato Robots | About $1,000 | Haul potatoes onto the conveyor so you spend less night time outside. |
| Cash Boost | Kitchen shop | Raises payout on every sale. Buy once volume is steady. |
| Auto Fryer → Fries Shooter | About $6,000 / $12,000 | Automate cook and serve. A loaded Shooter also helps drive off window anomalies. Shooter can be leveled further later. |

Kitchen Tools shop. Bucket starts at Holds 3. Vacuum upgrades with cash. Golden Vacuum is a Robux option.
Robot upgrades
After you own Potato Robots, dump spare cash into Basket, Speed, and Helpers at the outdoor Upgrade pad.
| Upgrade | Cost | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Robot Basket | About $660 | Raises how many potatoes each robot carries (example: 4 → 6). |
| Robot Speed | About $1,320 | Faster hauling between pile and conveyor. |
| Robot Helpers | About $6,600 | Adds another robot helper (example: 1 → 2). Stack when cash allows. |

Street shop stock
The outdoor stall opens around 8:00 a.m. Stock rotates. Watch for cars when you cross.
| Item | Cost | Why |
|---|---|---|
| TNT | About $50 | Burns potato piles for fast cash and key hunting. Stock can sell out. |
| Money Potion | Street stock | Cash multiplier (often about 1.5x). Drink before a big handoff. Price rotates with the stall. |
| Cross | About $200 | Utility item sold at the outdoor stall. Check the live card. |
| Shop Clock | Street stock | Skips night to morning so free perks arrive sooner. Buy while the stall is open. |
| Flamethrower | Stall or lobby wheel | Burns piles and can torch potato monsters. Permanent Flamethrower can also land on the lobby prize wheel. |

Technique tips
How to earn faster without inventing shortcuts.
- Serving at the window is the only action that pays cash.
- There is no hard cap on fries per handoff. Larger batches pay more.
- Gold and diamond potatoes sell for more. Grab glowing stock first.
- Vacuum upgrades in the Tools shop (cash tiers). Golden Vacuum is a Robux option.
- After you own robots, dump spare cash into Basket, then Speed, then Helpers at the outdoor Upgrade pad.
- Street stall stock rotates (TNT, potions, Cross, Clock). Watch cars when you cross.
- Solo is hard because you juggle the shop and the key search. Co-op helps. The game page also points teammates to the community server.
Common mistakes
What ends early runs.
- Staying outside after the screen darkens at night
- Serving a distorted window customer instead of closing the shutter
- Crossing the road without watching traffic
- Spending all cash on cosmetics before Auto Peeler and robots
- Chasing fake code lists instead of upgrading the kitchen
Beginner FAQ
What should I buy first?
Start with Conveyor, peel speed, and Bucket, then save for Auto Peeler around $500. Potato Robots around $1,000 come next so less of your night is spent outside. Layer Cash Boost once sales are flowing.
When does night start?
Anomalies start around 8:00 p.m. on the in-game clock. Finish outdoor potato runs earlier and read Night & Anomalies for counters.
How do I find the key?
Keep selling and search the potato piles. You might find it while a customer eats, or get it from an entity after many days. Use it on the padlocked basement hatch, jump in, and clear for YOU WIN plus about 100 Gems.
Do prices stay the same?
Numbers above can drift after patches, and street stock rotates. Trust the live shop card if it disagrees.
