Fifteen stars total: 3 in the lobby, then 2 on each island from Sky through Shadow. Full-set bonus needs all 15. The in-game prompt may mention about 4% Shiny mutation and Rainbow hatch chance.

Mushroom Index and chest islands. Desert Gold Machine and Pyramid. Crystal purple tree and Diamond machine. Shadow Enchant and Rainbow crystal.

Clear lobby before Sky. Check both Sky #5 spots. Finish Index, chest, and Pumpkin islet before you portal out. Clear Desert in one pass. Do not wait for Volcano.

Do I need all 15 for any reward?
Yes for the full-set reward. Partial collections do not grant the complete bonus. Read the in-game prompt for the exact wording.
Why are there two tips for Sky star #5?
The exact rock can sit in either spot. Check the right cliff behind the eggs and the tree by Gems Upgrade / golden craft so you do not leave one behind.
Does Volcano have Shiny Stars?
No. All 15 are placed from Spawn through Shadow Realm.
