Fishing
Rods, bait, and location decide the catch. The Fisherman starts you with a rod and Basic Bait. Anglers at Skylands, Green Zone, and Hydra Island unlock crafts. Oni and Celestial Fishermen handle realm rods. Named spots such as Sea of Treats, Cursed Ship, and Whirlpool waste a trip if the bait is wrong.

Tips
- Match bait before you buy a bundle. The fish row lists sea, location, and bait. Wrong bait still costs Beli and inventory space.
- Rods follow Angler trust, then realms. Starter Fisherman covers every sea. Gold, Shark, Shell, and Treasure rods are Angler crafts. Corrupted Shark and Celestial Shell use realm Fishermen.
- Skip unresolved and past-event rows. Details unconfirmed, Unresolved, and Past event fish are not farm plans. Check the fish index on this page before you sail.
- Fishing Trophy is not a dealer sword. Fishing Trophy came from a tournament placement. Do not treat it like a shop or boss sword route.

Where do I start fishing?
Talk to the Fisherman at Frozen Village, Kingdom of Rose, or Port Town for the starter rod and Basic Bait, then fish in a sea you can already sail.
How do I unlock better rods and bait?
Complete Angler quests in Skylands (First Sea), Green Zone (Second Sea), and Hydra Island (Third Sea). Realm rods use the Oni and Celestial Fishermen.
Why am I not catching the fish I want?
Check sea, location, and bait together. Ghostfish and Angler need Abyssal or Epic bait at haunted spots. Carnivore bait is for Terrorfish and Gravelhead Shark.
How many fish are there?
About 60 index entries. Most obtainable rows use Any bait in open water. Named spots and named baits are the ones that waste a trip if you guess wrong.
