Beginner Guide
Survive Meadow, hit Garden Spider adult, pick Housefly or Grasshopper at Lv12, then enter Whispering Woods.

First hour goal
Your first goal is adult Garden Spider and the Lv12 branch, not Desert. Survive Meadow, bank 200 coins for Housefly or Grasshopper, then enter Whispering Woods at Lv15+. Later coin banks are on Progression, the full tree on Bug Tree, farm routes on Zones.
Also see Bug Tree, Zones, Progression, and Codes.
Finish tutorial food. Bite the marked acorns or cocoons until the tutorial clears. Keep a Quick quest live as soon as the panel opens.
Grow Garden Spider adult. Eat Meadow food until you hit adult at Lv12 with 200 coins banked for the first Bug Tree unlock.
Pick Housefly or Grasshopper. Both cost 200 coins at Lv12. Fly for escape; hopper for ground and moth lines.
Enter Whispering Woods. At Lv15+, leave Meadow for Woods cover and denser food. Save Desert for Lv25+.
Take your first Trait. Every 10 levels you pick a Trait. Early farm picks are on Progression.

First-hour order
Tutorial food → keep a Quick quest live → Lv12 + 200 coins → Housefly or Grasshopper → Woods at Lv15+ → first Trait.
Grab daily login and the Like + Join Group FREE panel when they pop. Clear tutorial bites on acorns and cocoons, and prefer glowing orbs over tiny scraps. Keep a Quick quest running the whole time. Push Garden Spider to adult at Lv12 with 200 coins ready, then take Housefly if you want escape flight or Grasshopper if you want ground / moth lines. Spend early upgrades on bite speed first, then movement and stamina. At Lv15+, leave Meadow for Whispering Woods (or climb the Map ladder). Take your first Trait at the level-10 screen; deeper trait packs are on Progression.
Housefly vs Grasshopper
Both cost 200 coins at Lv12. Housefly opens early flight escape toward Locust / Widow; Grasshopper opens ground leap and moth lines toward Monarch / Jumping.
| Bug | Req | Playstyle | Leads toward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Housefly | 200c / Lv12 | Flight + Buzz Off escape | Locust / Black Widow lines |
| Grasshopper | 200c / Lv12 | Spring Leap ground pressure | Monarch / Jumping Spider lines |
Pupa & cocoon safety
Larva is safe from players. Flies freeze in pupa for 4 seconds; butterflies and moths freeze in cocoon for 8. Sit in a nest or beside teammates before you evolve.
| Stage | Duration | Tip |
|---|---|---|
| Larva / early form | Until you leave larva | Other players cannot hurt you yet. Use the window to eat food, not to pick fights. |
| Pupa (flies) | 4 seconds | Cannot move; reduced damage. Stand in a nest or next to teammates before you evolve. |
| Cocoon (butterflies / moths) | 8 seconds | Same rule: do not evolve mid-fight in the open. |
Night Hunt
Night Hunt banners give 2× XP until sunrise. Save dense food and sugar grinds for that window when you can.
When a Night Hunt banner appears, grind dense food or sugar for 2× XP until sunrise. If you are close to a level gate, save the risky zone push for that buff. Night Hunt speeds levels; it does not drop extra coins by itself. Glowing orbs during the window pair well with the double XP.
Common mistakes
Chasing fake codes, leaving Quick / Hourly empty, evolving mid-fight, and entering Desert before Lv25.
Do not trust random "active codes" lists when the game has no redeem box. Do not farm with Quick / Hourly empty. Do not evolve into pupa or cocoon in open combat, and do not hard-charge Whispering Woods bosses before Lv15+. Avoid standing still on a carcass while high-level players hunt, and do not dump early coins as if you already need the T5 wall.
FAQ
What level is the first evolve?
Garden Spider adult and the first Bug Tree branch sit at Lv12. Housefly and Grasshopper each cost 200 coins.
Housefly or Grasshopper?
Housefly opens early flight escape toward Locust / Widow / flyer T7. Grasshopper opens ground leap and moth lines toward Monarch / Jumping / Death's-Head. Same 200-coin gate.
Where do early coins come from?
Daily login (Day1 is 50 coins), invites, Quick/Hourly, early Story steps, playtime, and Like + Join Group. Full coin math is on Progression.
Do mob kills and player kills give XP the same way?
Mobs leave a carcass you have to eat. Player kills dump XP straight into your bar. Hunting is efficient, and lingering on a kill makes you a snack.
When is it safe to evolve?
Larva is safe from players. Flies freeze in pupa for 4 seconds; butterflies and moths freeze in cocoon for 8. Sit in a nest or beside teammates before you evolve.
Do I lose progress on death?
Ordinary death shows a free revive and keeps your level, even if a "levels lost" warning flashes. Leaving while tagged in combat can wipe progress. Keep Levels in the in-game shop is the paid safety net.
When can I enter Whispering Woods?
Lv15+. Clear Meadow adult and the first branch first, then follow the Map farm ladder instead of skipping ahead.
What is Night Hunt?
A timed 2× XP banner. Grind dense food or sugar until it ends if you are close to a level gate. It speeds levels; it does not drop extra coins.
Where next?
Bug Tree for routes, Map for the farm ladder, Progression for coin banks and traits, Abilities for Q / Lv100 moves, Codes for free coin methods.
