How the Bug Tree works
Meet the node level, pay coins (or Robux skip), then grow that bug through its stages to adultAt. You start as Garden Spider. Coin banks for later tiers are on Progression.

Tier coin gates
T2 is 200 coins at Lv12 (19 R$ skip), T3 450 at 15 (29), T4 1,800 at 28 (39), T5 12,000 at 40 (99), T6 35,000 at 55 (129), T7 75,000 at 80 (299). T5+ is the real coin wall.

Buying a random mid-tier with Robux then starving coins, ignoring adultAt, treating Prehistoric as a free T7 shortcut, and hopping routes instead of committing.

How do you evolve in Bug Evolution?
Grow to the node level, pay the coin cost (or Robux skip), then play as that bug and grow it to adult. T2 is 200 coins at Lv12; T7 is 75,000 at Lv80. Adult levels climb from 12 on Garden Spider to 105 on free T7.
What does adultAt mean?
The level where that bug finishes growing into its adult body. Unlocking a node and reaching adultAt are separate: you can buy Horsefly at Lv28 and still need to grow it to adult at 40 before the next gate feels safe.
What is the strongest free baseline?
Death's-Head Moth leads free base stats at 640 HP / 37 bite. Giant Huntsman and Giant Hornet share the T7 coin gate at 75,000 / Lv80 (adult at 105). Jaekelopterus from the Prehistoric pack sits at 600 HP / 38 bite.
Which route should I pick?

No. The pack (299 R$ or 250,000 coins) unlocks Trilobite forever. Later forms still cost coins: Mongolarachne 5k, Pulmonoscorpius 10k, Meganeura 20k, Arthropleura 35k, Jaekelopterus 50k. Free T7 forms stay on the main Bug Tree.
