Build A Ring Farm Mutations
Nine harvest multipliers from 1.5× Wet to 6.5× Honeycomb: Gear Shop prices, event triggers, per-roll odds, and which buffs are event-only.

Nine harvest multipliers with event chance, spray prices, and event-only tags.
Mutations are the primary income multiplier in Build A Ring Farm — from Wet at 1.5x up to Honeycomb at 6.5x. Six sprays are sold in the Gear Shop; Alien, Farm, and Honeycomb only appear during specific world events.
Stack mutation value with the correct ring tier and high base-income crops from the seeds database. That combination is how late-game harvests jump from steady income to balance-shifting payouts.
Mutation matrix
For activation timing and per-plant rolls, see weather events. Sorted by multiplier. Event chance is the per-roll rate when the linked weather or world event is active.
| Mutation | Multiplier | Event Chance | Spray Price | Trigger | Shop |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Wet | 1.5x | 8% | $10M | Rain | Yes |
| Frozen | 1.75x | 4% | $750M | Blizzard | Yes |
| Autumn | 2x | 3.5% | $850M | Harvest | Yes |
| Void | 2.25x | 3% | $1B | Black Hole | Yes |
| Radioactive | 3x | 2% | $10B | Nuclear | Yes |
| Alien | 3.25x | 2.5% | Not for sale | UFO | Event only |
| Farm | 4x | 1.5% | Not for sale | Mega Farm | Event only |
| Rainbow | 5x | 1% | $1T | Galaxy | Yes |
| Honeycomb | 6.5x | 0.5% | Not for sale | Bee Swarm | Event only |
Gear Shop vs event-only buffs
Purchasable mutations range from Wet at 1.5x up to Rainbow at 5x, with billion-to-trillion pricing on top-tier sprays. Some sprays also arrive from redeem codes. You pay once, apply the buff on your schedule, and harvest when ready.
Event mutations cost no spray currency but require the right sky or world state. Rain and Wet appear often; Galaxy and Rainbow are rare but powerful. Honeycomb at 6.5x has a tiny proc rate — treat it as a trophy proc, not a daily planning baseline.
Effective weather rate
Multiply event activation by per-roll chance. Rain + Wet ≈ 40% × 8% ≈ 3.2% per plant per cycle. Galaxy + Rainbow ≈ 4% × 1% ≈ 0.04% — roughly an 80× gap, which is why Rainbow feels much rarer in normal play.
Choosing mutations by stage
Early game
Do not bankrupt yourself for Rainbow. Learn harvest rhythm with Wet and Frozen from frequent weather before buying expensive sprays.
Mid game
Pick one or two shop mutations that match your main seed tier. Upgrade saw level so ring multipliers amplify larger base unit prices.
Late game
Chase Nuclear, Galaxy, and rare Honeycomb procs while Outer ring plots hold secret or exotic seeds. Compare 3x Radioactive vs 5x Rainbow on your planted crops before waiting an extra hour for weather.
Pair with rings
Rainbow (5x) during Galaxy on Outer (19x) is 95× before seed level scaling. See weather events for activation timing.
FAQ
Do mutations stack with rings?
Harvest value uses: Base Value × Mutation Multiplier × Ring Multiplier × Quantity. Rings amplify crop value after you pick a mutation and ring tier.
Which mutations can you buy in the Gear Shop?
Six mutations are sold from Wet ($10M) through Rainbow ($1T). Alien, Farm, and Honeycomb are event-only and never appear in the shop.
Which mutation should early players care about first?
Learn timing with Wet and Frozen from frequent weather. Do not save for Rainbow until Outer ring plots hold high base-income crops.
What is the common mistake with Rainbow?
Buying the $1T spray before your farm produces enough per harvest to justify the cost. Model income on your actual seeds and ring tier first.
Why are Alien, Farm, and Honeycomb event-only?
They require Mega Farm, UFO, or Bee Swarm world events. You cannot purchase those multipliers with cash in the Gear Shop.
What is the highest mutation multiplier?
Honeycomb at 6.5× with a 0.5% per-roll chance during Bee Swarm. Rainbow from Galaxy weather is 5× and more commonly planned around Outer ring harvests.
Game balance may change after updates. Values marked Unknown are not yet confirmed in-game. Redeem codes and harvest once to confirm rewards after each patch.
