Beginner Guide
First cash loop: Hire, Collect fish, Deposit Fish on a strong Fish Value, Collect money, then merge. Includes the HUD clock Event List.

What this guide covers
Your first cash loop: Hire pads that only spawn Tier 1, Collect fish, Deposit Fish while watching the 0.5x to 1.5x Fish Value board, Collect money after customers eat, then reinvest.
First sale steps
Hire on the pier, Collect fish from the holding grid (or stand at the pier crossroads to grab by hand), wait for a strong Fish Value before Deposit Fish, let customers eat, Collect money, then buy more hires or start merging.
Hire on the pier. Use Hire 1 or Hire 5 to buy Tier 1 fishermen (Sardine). Hire 25 and Hire 100 unlock later. Every Hire pad only makes Tier 1. Higher fish come from merge or boats.
Pad prices climb as you own more fishermen and jump after boat buys. Always read the Cash number on the pad.
Collect fish. Fishermen fill the holding grid. Press Collect fish (or buy Deck Hand later) so fish move into your carried Fish count. You can also stand at the pier crossroads near the pile to grab fish by hand. Carried fish are not sushi yet.
Deposit on Fish Value. Check the Fish Value board before Deposit Fish. The multiplier usually swings about 0.5x to 1.5x. Depositing at 0.5x roughly halves what you bank. Waiting for 1.3x to 1.5x pays more if the chef still has room to work.
Fish Trader can auto-deposit at a target like 1.2 / 1.3 / 1.5. You can leave it off and time deposits yourself. See Upgrades.
Collect money. After the chef cooks and customers eat, Collect money into Cash (or buy Cashier later). Finished plates are not wallet Cash until you Collect.
Reinvest. Spend Cash on more hires, the yellow Merge pad when you have three same-tier fishermen, Chef Skill when the kitchen lags, or boats when they dock. Grab the Like + Join group Cash about every ten minutes. First merge steps live on Merging.
Hire pad list
Four pads: Hire 1 (+1 Tier 1), Hire 5 (+5), Hire 25 (+25), and Hire 100 (+100). Every pad only makes Sardine Tier 1. Prices climb as you own more fishermen and jump after boat buys, so read the Cash label on the pad.
| Pad | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hire 1 | +1 Tier 1 fisherman | Starter pad; price climbs as you grow |
| Hire 5 | +5 Tier 1 fishermen | Early batch hire |
| Hire 25 | +25 Tier 1 fishermen | Bigger batch; still Tier 1 only |
| Hire 100 | +100 Tier 1 fishermen | Still exists late; boats usually beat it |
Fish Value board
The pier Fish Value board usually swings about 0.5x to 1.5x. Depositing at 0.5x wastes about half the fish value. Waiting for 1.3x to 1.5x pays more, but waiting forever can starve the chef. During Market Open, value stays at least 1.2x.
Fish Trader target automation is covered on Upgrades.
Clock Event List table
HUD Event List follows the in-game clock. Weekdays: Market Open 8am-10am (Fish Value at least 1.2x) and Lunch 12pm-2pm. Every day: Dinner 5pm-9pm and Night Fishing 9pm-5am. Chance rolls: High Demand 8am-10am, Dinner Rush 5pm-9pm, Midnight Swarm 11pm-3am.

Handoff troubleshooting list
Fish rising with no Cash means you still need Deposit, cook, eat, then Collect money. Finished plates need Collect money (or Cashier). Weak deposits are usually a 0.5x Fish Value dump. A full kitchen with no progress means buy Chef Skill. To read a new Index fish value, turn Deck Hand off and pick the fish up yourself.
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Fish count rises but Cash does not | You still need Deposit Fish, chef cooking, customers eating, then Collect money. |
| Customers finished but wallet empty | Press Collect money (or equip Cashier). Finished plates do not bank themselves. |
| Deposits feel weak | Check Fish Value. A 0.5x deposit really hurts. Wait for a better number when you can. |
| Kitchen fills and progress stalls | Buy Chef Skill. Collectors alone cannot clear a slow chef. See Upgrades. |
| Cannot read a new fish's Index value | Turn Deck Hand off briefly, pick the fish up yourself, then check the value on your Index or the board. |
FAQ
What should I do first?
Hire Tier 1, Collect fish, Deposit Fish when Fish Value is not at the bottom, Collect money, then buy more hires or merge three Sardines.
Do I need Robux to start?
No. Passes and boat skips are optional. Collect money and the group timer fund the early loop.
When should I open Merging?
As soon as you can stand three Sardine Tier 1 fishermen on the yellow Merge pad for Mackerel Tier 2.
What is the Like + Join reward?
Like the game, join Popular Marketplace, then claim Cash about every ten minutes. The amount grows with your progress. More detail is on Upgrades.
What is the Event List on the HUD?
It is the in-game day and night clock: Market Open, Lunch, Dinner, Night Fishing, plus chance windows like High Demand. Market Open keeps Fish Value at least 1.2x. It is not a codes page.
