Pets overview
Hatched pets earn cash in your Pen, including offline. Sort by the $/s label; size alone is not the ranking rule. This page also covers rarity labels, Safe Zone merge, and sizes/mutations.
Hatch and sell steps
Place first, open when ready, compare labels, then sell only after you read the offer.
- Confirm the egg is on your Pen. Carrying does not create a pet. Placement in the Pen starts hatching.
- Read that egg's readiness text. Hatch time is not the same for every egg. Wait for the hatch interaction on that egg.
- Open when the hatch interaction appears. Opening creates the pet. Opening alone does not put it in your earning lineup.
- Run best selection, then read labels. If best selection is available, use it, then check which pets it kept and what $/s they show. A larger model left out means read the labels again.
- Sell only after you check the offer. Unwanted pets can be sold for cash. There is no demonstrated undo. Compare the sale number, free Pen slots, and whether you still need it for the Index.

Sizes and mutations rules
Official copy mentions sizes and mutations but lists no drop rates. Labels decide value.
- Glow is a clue. A glow is not a named mutation until the interface names one. Inspect the label before you assume a multiplier.
- Size is not the sort key. A large model is not a multiplier until a label says so. Best selection can leave out a larger-looking pet.
- Artwork is not a hatch table. Common Cat at $3/s and Divine Geek Cat at $847Q/s appear on promotional art. Those strings are not drop odds and do not say which egg produces either cat.
- Passes do not sell mutation chance. x2 Growth advertises faster growth. x2 Cash advertises double Pen money. Neither description mentions mutation chance or a better size.
Merge machine rules
Three matching animals in the Safe Zone machine return a species egg. No Cash cost. Weight can overshoot the total.
- Find the machine. Between the Sell Shop and the Top Cash Leaderboard in the Safe Zone. Dark blue frame with three tube incubators. Each player has a personal machine.
- Open the merge menu. Interact (E on PC). Click a box and pick an animal from inventory.
- Fill three matching slots. Add two more animals of the same kind. Weights can differ.
- Merge. Hit Merge. You receive an egg of that species. Hatch it for a heavier variant when ready.
Merge safety notes
Duplicates are the gate. Other players cannot touch your submissions.
- No Cash cost and no daily limit listed. Duplicates are the real gate.
- Other players cannot touch your submissions.
- Merge after you have Index copies you do not need in best selection.
- Heavier eggs feed higher income once hatched and selected.
Pen management
- Hatch before you sell. A carried egg is not income.
- Best selection can skip a larger-looking pet. Trust the $/s label.
- Pen Cash keeps printing offline. Fill best selection before long AFK.
- A one-time sale and ongoing pet income are different numbers. Read the offer.
- An unselected pet is not automatically junk. Capacity and income are separate.
- Free Pen slots (max Lv 16) matter when you decide to sell an odd hatch.
- Pass pets still need their own label checked after you own them.
- Merge Index duplicates you do not need in best selection.
- Luck Title rarity names are labels. Only named Title pets list 0.1% odds.

Does UNIVERSAL Pet beat every hatch?
VIP does not print its income. Compare the pet's own label with best selection after purchase.
Why did best selection skip my big pet?
Official copy mentions sizes and mutations but does not list the sort formula. Read the income labels after best selection runs.
What mutations exist?
No named mutation list with rates appears in-game. Record names when the live UI prints them.
Should I keep every glowing pet?
Read income, the sale offer, and free Pen slots first. Appearance alone is not enough to keep or sell.
Where is the Merging machine?
Safe Zone, between the Sell Shop and the Top Cash Leaderboard.
How many animals do I need to merge?
Three of the same species. No Cash cost.
Do pets earn while I am offline?
Yes. Pen pets print Cash when you leave. Best selection still decides which labels matter.
