Twelve zones sit outside the Safe Zone from Duck Pond to Glitch City. Each board lists the Speed you need before a clean steal. Five Index animals per zone unlock that zone's Bat and Title.

How to progress zones
- Duck Pond is closest to the Safe Zone and works at 0 Speed for first steals.
- Each zone Index wants five different animals from that zone. First finds also pay Index Speed and Cash.
- Guardians get faster the farther you go. Speed boards are the gate, not decoration.
- You can carry only one egg at a time, so Glitch City Index work takes multiple runs.
- Glitch City flashes a screen glitch on entry. The guardian has a neon green glow and is the fastest listed.
- Pets print Cash from the Pen even while you are offline. Index work funds Table upgrades.
- Other players can contest eggs. A Bat can clear a path before you commit to the return.
- Full zone Index clears unlock that zone's Title and Bat in the Safe Zone shops.

100 billion Speed on the zone board. Steal a 1x1x1x1 Egg and outrun the guardian back to the Safe Zone.
Why train Speed at all?
Each zone guardian chases after pickup. Below the board number, clean returns fail more often.
