Notes
Health % is the variant's HP contribution before ore multipliers from your forge mix. Base price is the class sell baseline; ore multipliers and traits change the final value. Compare tank vs damage builds in armor recipes below and forge setups.
Armor recipes
Armor crafts split tank (survivability traits) and damage (offensive passives). Check mixes in the forge calculator (Armor mode) or copy ready mixes from forge setups.
Tank: heavy armor
Heavy pieces give the most health and defense. Aim for 25-30 ores for Heavy weight odds, with about 30% Obsidian and 70% Darkryte. Obsidian Vitality plus Darkryte Dodge is a standard tank pair.
Damage: medium/heavy with traits
For armor that also feeds offense, use about 20-25 ores: Uranium 20%, Lightite 25%, Demonite 25%, and Eye Ore 30%. That mix favors speed, burn, and weapon-damage style passives.
Armor weight
Keep the recipe coherent (same core ore types) to raise Medium or Heavy odds. Light pieces give less health for the same forge effort.
FAQ
What does Health % mean?
It is the variant's HP contribution before ore multipliers from your forge mix. Ore mult and traits change the final tankiness.
Tank vs damage armor: which should I forge?
Forge tank pieces when you need survivability for bosses or hard zones. Damage-leaning armor fits faster clears when you can avoid hits. Compare both in armor recipes and forge setups.
Does base price equal sell value?
No. Base price is the class sell baseline. Ore multipliers and traits change the final sell price.
Are armor classes shared across worlds?
Armor classes are shared, but always match the world toggle to where you craft so variant tables stay correct.
