Grow a Chicken Fighter cover: pit-fight chickens sparring while trainers watch from the rails

Arena is a three-chicken team mode on the HUD. Pick your strongest trio, queue Battle for Trophies, and climb Ranks. Master V (~2,200 trophies) grants one Ascension Egg; Grandmaster I (top 1%) grants three. Promotes and Battle Charms on all three slots matter here; one fused Pit carry is not enough.

Ascension Egg hatch notes and the milestone table live on the Eggs page. Combat specials and Arena fight picks are on Abilities. Shipped with the August 22 patch.

How to queue

  1. Open Arena. Tap Arena on the HUD: it sits beside Pit, Tower, and your other main buttons.
  2. Pick three chickens. Select three birds from Flock. Score total team strength across all slots, not one standout unit.
  3. Queue Battle. Hit Battle to match another player. Wins award Trophies that push you through Ranks.
  4. Claim rank rewards. Master V (~2,200 trophies) grants one Ascension Egg. Grandmaster I (top 1% of players) grants three Ascension Eggs plus other rank bundle rewards.

Rank Ascension rewards

Only certain Arena ranks pay Ascension Eggs. Rebirth milestones at 10, 100, and 250 are a separate track, claim those from Rebirth Milestones in the rebirth menu.

Team-building tips

  • Spread fuse, Promotes, and Battle Charms across your second and third birds. Arena scores the full roster.
  • Claim daily Shop Charm Dust before a trophy push so rolls land on birds you will actually queue.
  • Spread combat specials across the trio; Pit-only one-bird loadouts fall apart in ranked queue.
  • Keep route layers that still lay eggs for your farm. Arena does not replace Pit cash or Tower pushes.
  • Check the season timer on the Arena panel before you hard-push Trophies toward a rank deadline.

FAQ

How many chickens do I need for Arena?

Three. Arena is a team mode: you pick a trio from Flock before you queue Battle.

Which ranks grant Ascension Eggs?

Master V (~2,200 trophies) grants one Ascension Egg. Grandmaster I (top 1%) grants three Ascension Eggs. Grandmaster is a percentile rank, so the trophy cutoff moves with the ladder.

Do rebirth milestones still grant Ascension Eggs?

Yes. Lifetime totals at 10, 100, and 250 each grant one, claim from Rebirth Milestones in the rebirth menu. Full milestone table is on the Beginner guide and Eggs page.

Do Promotions and Battle Charms help in Arena?

Yes. Promote stars and rolled charms stack on each bird in the trio. Spend Charm Dust on the three you queue, not only your Pit carry.

Can any chicken lay Ascension eggs?

No. Ascension Eggs come from rebirth milestones and Arena ranks only. Hatch the pool in Flock, there is no daily lay farm.

Do combat specials work in Arena?

Yes. Arena fights use the same combat meter as Pit and Tower. Spread chase or hold skills across three birds, see the Abilities page for fight picks.

When does the Arena season end?

Check the season timer on the Arena panel. Rank seasons can reset on a monthly cadence.
