Hatch Nest, Scratch, and Thunder from codes first. Then pick a line by cash, Tower, Ascension, or Trick / Catalyst, and keep the layers that open the next egg.

Eggs unlock the next pool of chickens, and those chickens lay the next egg. This page lists how to enter each line, which layers to keep, and step routes for common goals. Hatch and lay rates disagree across public tables, so farm-egg numbers stay out. Check pools on See the Index in Flock before you sell a route bird. Ascension Egg odds are in the pool table below.
Start with rewards from Codes, then use those layers in the beginner fuse loop. Haunt and Royal hens that donate combat specials are listed on Abilities.
Which egg first?
Open code eggs first, then pick a branch by goal. This is a starting order so you do not sell route layers early, not an S-D ranking.
First hour
Hatch Nest, Scratch, and Thunder from Codes, then pick one branch below. Hatch Blazing only if you already have one.
Cash / early Pit layers
Stay on Nest and Scratch until Cosmo and Scratch-pool birds are online.
Tower fighters off Thunder
Push Thunder into Ordnance or Void once Static or Sergeant keeps Thunder laying.
Late Haunt chase
Scratch → Arena → Haunt. Keep Creepy Clown and Zombie Chick.
Royal or Fortune
Thunder → Founder, then choose the fork with Fertility Gene open.
Colossus
Same Founder as the Royal / Fortune fork. Keep Founder; Colossus hatches do not lay this egg back.
Hot / special
Blazing from the Hot event window, or from Codes if a Blazing reward is still active. Grudge and Growth are not farm targets right now.
Ascension Egg
Rebirth milestones 10 / 100 / 250 (claim in Rebirth Milestones), or Arena Master V (1 egg) and Grandmaster I (3 eggs). Hatch the pool in Flock.
Trick Egg
Colossus Secret hatch for Catalyst Hen, then farm its low Trick lay chance. Skip until Founder and Colossus are stable.
Ascension Egg pool
Ascension Eggs come from rebirth milestones (10 / 100 / 250) and Arena ranks Master V and Grandmaster I. No chicken lays this egg. Eclipse Hen is the rare chase at the bottom of the pool.

Follow the layer order. When a step lists two birds, either works as the bridge. Check Fertility Gene and See the Index on the bird before you fuse or sell.

- Hatch Trick Eggs, then read each bird's Lays panel before you sell; keep any that continue Trick

Fertility Gene and multi-egg layers
Open Flock and hover Fertility Gene to see which egg types a chicken can lay. Fusion can expand that set so one bird covers more than one line. Lock the egg trait you care about, then check the fuse preview before you confirm. Bridge birds like Farmer, Viking, and Founder often sit on two egg types at once.

Which egg should I open first?
Hatch code eggs first (Nest, Scratch, Thunder). Hatch Blazing only if you already have one. Then pick a branch by goal: cash layers, Tower fighters, Haunt, Void, Ascension milestones, or a named fork.
How do I get Haunt eggs?
Scratch → Slugger → Arena, hatch Creepy Clown for Haunt, then Zombie Chick for steadier Haunt lays. Keep Arena layers until that bridge is secure.
How do I get Void or Ordnance?
Both sit on Thunder. Astro Chick opens Void; Commando Rooster opens Ordnance. Probe and Ronin are the steadier lay birds once you are on those eggs.
How do I get Colossus eggs?
Founder Rooster on the Thunder fork can lay them. Call the pool Colossus and match the label on See the Index. Hatches from the pool do not lay the egg back, so you keep farming Founder. If Chicken Boss is running in the Pit, check the reward panel; do not count on it as the farm.
How do I get Ascension Eggs?
Rebirth milestones at 10, 100, and 250: claim each from Rebirth Milestones in the rebirth menu. Arena Master V (~2,200 trophies) grants one Ascension Egg; Grandmaster I (top 1%) grants three. Hatch the Ascension pool in Flock. No chicken lays this egg.
How do I get Trick Eggs?
Hatch Catalyst Hen from Colossus Eggs (Secret, very low Index chance), deploy it, and wait for Trick lays. Most Catalyst cycles still drop Colossus. After you hatch Trick, keep any bird whose Lays panel continues Trick.
Is a Royal Egg from codes the same as Trick?
No. Code Royal Eggs hatch the Thunder Royal line. Trick is a separate late Colossus chase through Catalyst Hen.
Why are there no drop percentages on farm eggs?
Lay and hatch rates on route eggs disagree across public tables. Use farm routes, key layer names, and See the Index. Ascension Egg odds are listed in the pool table on this page.
What is Fertility Gene?
A Flock hover that shows which egg types a chicken can lay. Fusion can expand that set so one bird covers more than one egg line.
Do chickens lay eggs offline?
Yes. Birds keep producing while you are away. Pick eggs up when you return, then hatch or sell based on the route you are farming.
Is Grudge or Growth available?
Grudge is unobtainable for now. Growth is often missing from See the Index. Do not plan a long farm around either until Index shows a path.
How do I farm a specific egg later?
Keep the key layer for that egg, Lock the egg trait when you fuse, and read Fertility Gene before you sell. Farm routes above list the usual entry birds.
