Pet Store Tycoon money loop: front counter with register, weekly recap calendar, STORAGE door, and shoplifter warning poster

How money works

Cash comes from Open-day checkouts, matching shelves, pamphlets, curbside, and Legendary hourly drip. Expansion #1 is $300. Staff passes are optional Robux.

Related: store, pets.

Spend order

Day 1 kit, matching shelves, Expansion #1, traffic and checkout, then Legendary display.

How to keep income moving

Prep then Open, ring cash and card, hand pamphlets, take car orders, Close and read net.

  1. Prep, then Open. Dirty tanks and empty flakes waste the first hour of traffic. Prep Closed, then flip Open.
  2. Ring every queue. Card confirms. Cash needs exact change ($20, $10, $5, $1, coins). Fix wrong change before you accept. Daily objectives count register customers. 1,000 lifetime register sales earns Ka-ching!
  3. Hand pamphlets. Entrance stand, then sidewalk NPCs. Pulls passers-by in when street traffic is thin.
  4. Take the car orders. Curbside is lump cash off the indoor queue. Accept fast; the timer is tight.
  5. Close and read the recap. End of day shows revenue, wholesale cost, net, and unlocks. Continue to see Farmers Market traffic lines and Pocket Pets shipment bonuses before the next Open. Spend net on tanks and Expansion, not mats.

Friends, group pack, Legendary

Same-server bump, Like + group Deluxe pack, hourly Exotic pets. The loop works without Robux staff.

  • Like, Favorite, and join already arrived studios, then claim the in-shop Deluxe Pet Pack.
  • Friends in the same server raise earnings. Split register, boxes, bat, and tanks. Better Together is the 8-player shop badge.
  • Leave Legendary pets Off sale for hourly Open income (about $25/hour on aquatic Legendaries while Open).
  • Robux staff passes exist (cashiers, stockers, keepers, guard, curbside runner). The loop works without them.

Wholesale vs shelf tag

Flakes about $5, Pellets about $7.70, Water Conditioner up to about $16, filters about $25 on 8-slot.

SKUWholesale / shelf tagNote
Fish FlakesWholesale, shelf tag about $5Starter SKU. Stock beside tanks so adoptions check out
Tropical PelletsAbout $4 wholesale, shelf tag about $7.70Higher margin. Good answer when shoppers ask what to buy
Water ConditionerWholesale, shelf tag up to about $16High tags work until shoppers complain; dial back if they balk
Aquarium filter (medium)Shelf tag about $25 on an 8-slot rackOne-SKU cash sprint. Medium shelf only, not 12-slot

One-SKU cash sprint

Close, pack extras into storage, one 8-slot rack of your dearest SKU, then Open and ring. Mix flakes back in when you want pet sales.

  1. Close and dump leftover. Flip Closed. Pack stray SKUs into the storage room so the floor is one rack, not a junk aisle.
  2. Place one matching shelf. Filters are medium stock. An 8-slot rack holds them. A 12-slot rack does not. Front of house is enough.
  3. Stock the dearest SKU you can buy. Fill that rack with aquarium filters at about $25 each. Do not mix cheap SKUs on the same sprint.
  4. Open and ring. Shoppers buy a single expensive line even without a prompt. One busy Open day can pull about $2,000 from that rack alone. Restock flakes before you want pet checkouts again.

Optional Robux passes

Robux pass prices from the in-game shop. None are required for Day 1.

FAQ

What should I buy with the first $500?

A second tank or critter enclosure, a wider flake/pellet order, then Floor Expansion #1 at $300. Skip decor.

Why is the register the money gate?

Stocked shelves do nothing until someone checks out. Card is instant. Cash is exact change. Slow change backs up the day.

Do friends print cash?

Same-server friends add an earnings bump and let you split jobs. They do not replace Open, flakes, and a working register.

Do I need Robux staff?

No. Passes automate bottlenecks. A Pet Keeper would have saved unfed fish. Cashier #2 through #5 add extra placeable checkouts in a sidewalk box if you buy them later.

Is selling only filters better than mixed stock?

For a cash sprint, yes: one expensive SKU on the right shelf size. For a real shop day, you still need flakes and pellets or pets will not sell and tanks look empty.

Can I mark everything up to the max?

No. Water Conditioner above about $16 can stall sales. Lower the tag if shoppers ask whether water care is too expensive. Auto-Price pass sets optimal shelf tags.
