How pets work
Pets arrive as pack cards you Keep into tanks or pens. Fish first, pocket pets next, dogs at store Level 10. Matching shelf SKUs decide whether shoppers adopt.

How to get pets
Buy Fish Packs, claim Deluxe packs from codes or the group prompt, Keep into empty slots.
- Buy or claim a pack. Starter Fish Packs cost $100 from the enclosure or shop catalog. Deluxe packs come from PETS, SNEK, or the Like + Favorite + already arrived studios claim.
- Rip the cards. A Fish Pack shows animals such as Betta, Goldfish, or Discus. Deluxe packs can roll Legendary.
- Keep into a habitat. Tap Keep on each card you want in the shop. The tutorial expects every starter fish Kept before the first Open. If every tank is full, buy another habitat in Build before you open more packs.
- Stock matching shelves. Customers skip pets when Fish Flakes, pellets, or Water Conditioner are missing. Pair every habitat with the matching care SKU.
Adoption recommendations
Which fish to take home and which pellet to buy are separate prompts. Stock the tank, then answer the species line.
- Stock the tank first. Shoppers complain about empty glass. Keep fish visible, fed, and paired with Fish Flakes or pellets on shelves.
- Answer adoption prompts. When someone asks which fish to take home, pick Betta, Goldfish, or Discus you actually display, not a species sitting in your pack un-Kept.
- Ring the adoption. They still need matching care SKUs in the cart. Missing flakes or conditioner blocks the pet sale even after a good recommendation.
Care activities
Feed the enclosure, wipe glass, swap filters, play when prompted, and stock matching supplies.
| Activity | Type | Purpose | Frequency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Feed the enclosure | Hunger prompt | Drop flakes or food until hunger icons clear | Before open, then as alerts fire |
| Clean glass | Display | Wipe algae and smudges so shoppers can see the animals | When dirty spots appear |
| Replace filters | Tank upkeep | Swap spent water filters on aquariums | When the filter gauge alerts |
| Play / interact | Pocket pets and mammals | Fill activity meters on critters that show a play prompt | When the enclosure asks |
| Stock matching supplies | Retail | Pets do not sell if care goods are missing from shelves | Before open, then after sell-outs |
| Keep fish alive | Hunger fail | Unfed fish die and leave empty glass. Shoppers call out empty tanks | Every Open day. Do not skip hunger icons |
How to run a care pass
Prep Closed, answer hunger icons, keep glass and filters honest, feed or fish die, buy space before more packs.
- Prep before Open. Feed, wipe glass, swap filters, and fill shelves before you flip the sign. Traffic splits your attention once doors are open.
- Answer hunger icons. Interact with the tank or pen and drop food until the icon clears. Hungry displays stop adoptions.
- Keep glass and filters honest. Dirty glass and overdue filters make shoppers walk. Clean and replace, then go back to the register.
- Do not overfill slots. A starter tank holds four fish. Extra tanks are about $200. Critter modules hold more, but still cap. Buy space before ripping more packs.
- Feed before the next Open. Hunger that sits through a day can kill the fish. Empty tanks stall adoptions and trigger complaints. A Pet Keeper pass is optional Robux, not a Day 1 fix.
Legendary and Exotic
Default Off sale. Hourly cash while Open. Toggle For Sale only for a lump payout.
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Default: not for sale | Legendary and Exotic pets start off the sale list. They pay hourly cash while the store is Open (about $25/hour on aquatic Legendaries). |
| Toggle For Sale | Open the enclosure menu and switch For Sale on if you want a lump checkout instead of the hourly drip. |
| Still need care stock | Hourly pets still need feeding, clean glass, and matching shelf SKUs. A starving Legendary does not replace a working register. |

FAQ
How do I get pets?
Buy Fish Packs ($100), Keep the cards into a tank, or claim Deluxe packs from codes and the Like + Favorite + already arrived studios prompt.
How do I unlock dogs?
Reach store Level 10. That milestone also awards the Top Dog badge. Dogs need pens and dog-care shelves, not a starter tank.
Why won't customers buy my animals?
Habitats are dirty or hungry, or the matching care item is missing from shelves. Fish need flakes, pellets, and Water Conditioner nearby.
Should I sell Legendary pets?
Leave them off For Sale if you want hourly Open-store cash. Toggle For Sale only when you need a lump payout more than the drip.
Is there a breeding minigame?
No breeding minigame on place 118845698633260. Progression is packs, Keep, habitats, and store level.
Can fish die?
Yes. Skip feed and they can vanish from the tank. Restock a Fish Pack and Keep again. Keep hunger icons clear before you chase pamphlets.
They ask which fish to buy. What do I pick?
Pick a species you Keep in a visible, fed tank. Pellet vs flake advice is a different prompt, but both paths need stocked shelves.
