How the shop floor works

Build the floor with F. Expansion #1 is $300. Order wholesale, unbox the sidewalk, Open and Close the day, bat thieves, run curbside later.

Related: pets, money.

Expansion path

Open and Close the day

Prep Closed, Open for traffic, pamphlets, spills, bat, then Close and read the recap calendar.

  1. Prep while Closed. Unbox sidewalk shipments, fill shelves, feed, wipe glass, swap filters. Order extra boxes when a busy Open day is coming. Open only when the floor can sell.
  2. Flip to Open. Customers walk in. Card checkout confirms. Cash checkout needs exact change from the drawer. Daily objectives track register customers during Open hours.
  3. Drive traffic. Grab pamphlets from the entrance stand and hand them to sidewalk NPCs. Pamphlets only work while Open. Farmers Market days add about +20% traffic on the day recap.
  4. Protect stock and aisles. Shoplifters grab and run. Bat them before the door. Stolen goods drop so you can reshelve. Ten catches is Not Today! Spills and trash on the floor need a manual cleanup (Roomba pass is optional Robux).
  5. Close the day. Toggle Close for revenue, wholesale cost, net profit, and level unlocks. On Continue, read tomorrow's calendar (Farmers Market +20%, Pocket Pets shipment with 2x rare odds). Curbside unlocks after early store levels. You cannot Open again until the next calendar day starts.

Restock from floor boxes

Order multiples, slot once, leave the carton in the aisle, restock during Open without running to the terminal every time.

  1. Order in bulk. At the wholesale terminal, buy multiples of Fish Flakes, pellets, and Water Conditioner before a rush. Boxes spawn on the sidewalk.
  2. Slot the first units. Carry boxes inside and fill empty shelf slots. Match small goods to counter racks and medium goods to 8-slot racks.
  3. Leave a carton on the floor. Drop the delivery box in the aisle instead of hauling back to the terminal after every sell-out. Restock straight from the box during Open hours.
  4. Break down when empty. When the carton is dry, order another batch or move the next sidewalk box inside before the register queue stalls.

After Close: recap lines

Net profit, Farmers Market +20%, Pocket Pets shipment odds, daily objectives.

Recap lineWhat it means
Net profit and levelClose shows revenue, wholesale cost, net, and any level-up unlocks (extra racks, curbside, catalog rows).
Farmers Market+20% customer traffic on that day. Prep extra stock and register time before you Continue.
Pocket Pets shipmentRecap lists Pocket Pets packs with 2x rare odds on the next cycle.
Daily objectivesRegister-service quests progress while Open. Finish them before Close for the bonus.

When to expand

Tank and flakes first, Expansion #1 at $300, match furniture to SKUs, keep valuables off the door.

  1. Tank, pack, flakes first. Day 1 spend is a $100 tank, a $100 Fish Pack, then wholesale Fish Flakes. Decor waits.
  2. Buy Expansion #1 at $300. Build → Expansion. The extra plot holds a second tank, taller shelves, and walking room.
  3. Match furniture to SKUs. Flakes fit counter racks. Bulk bags need medium or tall shelves. Q to move and rotate.
  4. Put valuables deep. Keep tanks and high-margin stock off the front door so you can bat thieves before they leave.

Shelf sizes and storage

Small 12-slot, medium 8-slot, large racks after Expansion, storage, and floor delivery boxes.

How to set prices

Order wholesale, slot, edit the tag. Supply picks and fish adoption picks use different prompts.

  1. Order wholesale. Buy Fish Flakes and Tropical Pellets at the terminal. Boxes land on the sidewalk.
  2. Slot, then edit the tag. Interact with the shelf. Typical tags: Flakes about $5, Tropical Pellets about $4 wholesale to about $7.70 on the shelf.
  3. Recommend supplies. If they ask what to buy for their fish, point at Tropical Pellets or Water Conditioner when those tags are stocked and marked up. Too high a tag and they walk.
  4. Recommend adoptions separately. If they ask which fish to take home, name a Betta, Goldfish, or Discus you Keep on display. Flakes or pellets still need to be on shelves or the adoption stalls.

Curbside pickup

Unlocks after early store levels. Accept with Z, pull car-badged SKUs, run to the parking bay on a short timer.

  1. Accept the car. Unlocks after early store levels, usually right after a profitable Close and level-up. Press Z (PC) when a car hits the bay. You get about 30 seconds.
  2. Pull badged shelf items. Requested SKUs show a car icon. Pack them into the delivery crate.
  3. Run to the bay. Hand the crate to the driver before the timer dies. Payout is lump cash, not a register line.

FAQ

How do I expand the shop?

Open Build and buy Expansion. The first adjacent plot is $300 store cash.

How do I move furniture?

On PC, F opens the catalog. Q picks up an owned fixture so you can rotate and place it.

Where do supplies come from?

Order at the wholesale terminal. Boxes land on the sidewalk. Carry them in and slot them onto shelves. Wrong place 5254674128 uses a bird-icon redeem box, not the phone.

What is curbside?

A later unlock. Accept with Z, grab car-badged shelf items, deliver to the parking bay on a short timer.

How many players share a store?

Servers hold 8. Friends can run one shop together (Better Together badge) or split jobs: register, boxes, bat, tanks.

Why won't a filter go on my shelf?

Medium stock needs an 8-slot rack. A 12-slot rack is the wrong size. Close, pack extras into storage, then place the matching shelf.

Why leave wholesale boxes on the floor?

During busy Open hours you can restock empty slots from the carton instead of running to the terminal after every sale. Pick up a new sidewalk box when the floor stock is gone.
