Eggs to rideable Elders
Trade sets at Dr. Ivy, incubate, keep belly over half full, ride from Subadult, then unlock flyers at Sky Spires.
Egg route
Matching set → Home Island DNA Lab → Trade fossils for an egg → incubate → hatchery collect.
- Complete a matching fossil set for one creature on a dig island.
- Sail back to Home Island. Use the waterfall landmark if you lose the dock heading.
- Talk to Dr. Ivy at the DNA Lab: "I'm Dr. Ivy. I bring fossils back to life. Got any samples for me?"
- Choose Trade fossils for an egg when the set is ready.
- Place the egg in an open incubator slot and wait out the timer on that egg.
- Collect at the hatchery, place the hatchling on a ranch slot, and start feeding.
Incubator slots list
Two free slots cover early play. Slot 3 costs 30,000 and unlocks before slot 4 at 50,000. Robux slots add more capacity. Fish or dig while timers run. Skip Hatching only skips the hatch cutscene. Tutorial eggs can finish in 10 to 15 seconds; normal eggs use the countdown on the slot.

Growth and belly
Growth runs Newborn → Juvenile → Subadult → Adult → Elder. Buy Meat (12) or Veggies (8) at Bramble's Feed, or grab x10 / x50 packs (Meat 120 / 600, Veggies 80 / 400). Put food on the hotbar, stand next to the dino, and press F. Match diet on the panel: carnivores can take meat or fish; herbivores need plants. Growth stops at half belly or lower. After Elder, stop feeding to save coins.

Hatch sizes
The same species can hatch Normal, Big, or Giant. Size rolls at hatch and is separate from rarity, so a Common can hatch Giant and a Legendary can hatch Normal. Many eggs share the same shell look; rarity shows on the bottom color.
Riding
Riding unlocks from Subadult. Newborn and Juvenile stay on foot. Open the planner, assign a Partner, then Hold R. The partner follows on land. Aquatic mounts must enter water first; use Shift + Space for a water jump. A grown aquatic dino can replace a boat for island travel, but it does not replace shovel dig gates.

Ranch notes
Eight ranch slots. Prefer Epic and Legendary when space is tight. An Epic juvenile can make about 210 coins per minute, so park rare dinos first and sell Common and Rare fossils when slots are full. Codes can grant eggs and fragments: UPDATE1 includes a Velociraptor egg, and SORRYFORDELAYSGUYS grants Nessie Fragments.

Flyer / Sky Spires
Clara's quest: Silver shovel, 20 Puffer, 70 Triassic digs, 10,000 coins.
- Buy Digby's Silver shovel so you can dig on Triassic.
- Sail toward Auction Island (upper center of the map), go behind Auction, and follow the buoy line to Sky Spires.
- Talk to Clara and accept the quest.
- Return to Home Island, buy bait up to 15, and catch 20 Puffer fish.
- Hand the Puffer fish back to Clara at Sky Spires.
- Dig 70 times on Triassic with the Silver shovel.
- Return to Clara, pay 10,000 coins, and collect the flyer egg.
- Incubate and hatch. Top-tier flyers are rare (around 5%). Repeat the quest if you want another roll.
- Example hatch: Legendary flyer, Adult, Normal size, 257 kg. Your weight and rarity will differ.
