How unlocking works
Achievements can pay Doubloons and speed unlocks. Skins are separate purchases on each character.
- Open Classes from the lobby (patty + spatula icon) to open the SKINS menu.
- Spend Doubloons (gold coin counter) to unlock locked characters.
- Compare Energy, Service, and Starter Cash stars before you buy.
- Check LV 1 perks and bonus items. LV 2 and LV 3 unlock after XP (Promotion / Promotion II badges).
- Optional skins cost more Doubloons on the same panel once a class is owned.
- Jim (150) is the cheap cook. SpongeBob (2,500) is the premium grill unlock.

Class skins
Fashion Fish skins cost Doubloons on the same SKINS panel. Partial name list, not a full catalog.
- Skins sit on the same SKINS panel after you own a class (Fashion Fish badge).
- Fred has no skins. Jim has at least a younger skin. Sandy's Football skin costs about 200 Doubloons.
- Known names: Pearl Employee / Schoolgirl / Performer / Undercover; Patrick Employee / Barnacle Boy / Secret Agent; SpongeBob Employee / Karate / Quickster / Abrasive / DoodleBob; Larry Employee / Firefighter / Eugene; Gary Employee / Snelly / Gary Booty (about 1,000 Doubloons).

FAQ
How do I unlock a new class?
Open Classes in the lobby, pick a locked character, and pay the Doubloon cost on the green button. Fred (Trainee) and Squidward (Cashier) start unlocked.
What do the star ratings mean?
Each class shows Energy, Service, and Starter Cash as star meters. Higher Energy helps longer shifts. Service and Starter Cash shape the opening day. Mr. Krabs leads Starter Cash. SpongeBob leads Service.
Which class should I buy first?
Jim (Cook, 150) is the cheapest paid unlock and speeds grilling. Pearl (550) brings a Fire Extinguisher. Save for SpongeBob (2,500) when you want dual patties and auto-flip, especially solo.
What does SpongeBob's Cook kit do?
At LV 1: cook two patties at once, and patties auto-flip when fully cooked (helps avoid grill fires). Needs 5,000 XP to leave LV 1. Open the LV 2 and LV 3 tabs in-game for higher patty counts. Jim is a separate cheaper Cook with "cook patties 25% faster."
How do class skins work?
Buy skins with Doubloons on the SKINS screen after you own the character. Unlocking any class skin awards Fashion Fish. Some skins cost a few hundred Doubloons; others sit around 1,000.
Are Doubloons the gold coins in the menu?
Yes for unlock spending. The UI shows a gold coin counter. Achievement text calls the reward Doubloons. Small Doubloon packs can also show up between nights. Restaurant cash ($) is separate.
