+1 Stone Skipping progression: Skill, Rebirth, river zones, and Worlds

How progression works

Skill sets throw distance and stops at the level cap. Levels gate Rebirth. River zones set Wins by distance. Clear the final zone for the next World. Rebirth at 100% for a permanent Skill multiplier. Skill pads, Friend Boost, timed 2x chips, and potions speed the same loop. Stones and pets stay through Rebirth.

Related: stones, pets.

Skill and level

Skill drives distance and freezes at the level cap. Level exists so you Rebirth, raise the ceiling, then stack more Skill as Worlds get harder.

StatRoleNotes
SkillThrow distanceThe number that sets how far you throw. It rises from auto-train, Skill pads, and river bounces (+1 Skill per bounce at base). Stone types add Skill; pets multiply it. It stops at the level cap until you Rebirth.
LevelRebirth gateTracks progress to the current level cap. The cap is there so you Rebirth, raise the ceiling, then stack more Skill as Worlds get harder.

River zones

Zones mark how far the stone traveled. Farther sinks pay more Wins. The final zone unlocks the next World.

  1. Read zones as distance markers. The river is split into regions from the throw start. Crossing farther zones means the stone traveled farther before it sank.
  2. Farther sinks pay more Wins. Wins scale with how far the stone reaches. Short skips bank less; deep zone clears fund stones and eggs faster.
  3. Use zones to check progress. Zone labels show distance on the map, not only the Skill number. If throws die early, train or upgrade before forcing long attempts.
  4. Clear the final zone for the next World. When Skill is high enough to reach the river end, the next World unlocks with harder gates and new shops.

Why Rebirth

Later zones and Worlds need more Skill. Rebirth adds a permanent Skill multiplier and a higher level cap. Rebirth at 100%.

  1. Skill requirements keep rising. Later river zones and Worlds need more Skill to clear. Training alone without Rebirth multipliers falls behind those gates.
  2. Rebirth buys permanent Skill power. Each Rebirth adds a Skill multiplier that stays on forever and raises your level cap so you can train past the old ceiling.
  3. Level and Skill drop to 1. Stones, pets, and prior Rebirth multipliers stay. Auto-train often recovers the old cap in minutes, sometimes seconds.
  4. Always Rebirth at 100%. Past the cap, Skill will not rise. Sitting on 100% wastes training time. Confirm Rebirth as soon as the meter fills.

Rebirth keep and reset

Level and Skill reset to 1. Permanent Skill multiplier, stone types, and pets stay. More Rebirths unlock stronger auto-train pools.

Rebirth steps

Watch the percent under the Rebirth button, confirm at 100%, reset to level 1 and Skill 1, keep stones and pets, then auto-train to recover.

  1. Watch the percent under Rebirth. The rating under the Rebirth button tracks progress to the current level cap. Check it often so you do not overtrain at 100%.
  2. Open Rebirth at 100%. When the rating reads 100%, hit the Rebirth button to open the menu, then press Rebirth to confirm.
  3. Accept the reset. Level and Skill rating both return to 1. You gain a permanent Skill multiplier and a higher level cap for the next climb.
  4. Keep stones and pets. Owned stone types and pets are unaffected. Their bonuses stack on top of every Rebirth multiplier.
  5. Train at the side pools to recover. Walk back into auto-train water or an unlocked Skill pad. With stones, pets, and the new multiplier, you often pass the old cap in minutes, sometimes seconds.
  6. Unlock better training areas. Multiple Rebirths open stronger auto-train pools so each later reset recovers even faster.

Potion and chip types

Skill, Win, and Luck potions last about 10 minutes. Timed 2x Skill and 2x Win chips use the HUD timer.

Boosts and pads

Time chips for active play, read Friend Boost on its own line, train on unlocked Skill pads, and open inventory after claims.

  1. Read timed chips before activating. 2x Skill and 2x Win chips show on the HUD with timers. Use Skill chips during bounce-heavy training. Use Win chips when you can reach a rewarding zone repeatedly.
  2. Friend Boost is its own HUD line. Friend Boost can show +0% alone or about +10% with friends in the same server. It is not a potion, chip, or Shop pack.
  3. Train on Skill multiplier pads. World pads can label multipliers such as 1x or 10x. Stand on the strongest unlocked pad and watch Skill climb before blaming your stone.
  4. Compare boosted and plain throws. Note stone, pets, pad, Friend Boost, and active chips for a baseline, then change one factor. Another player's number with different gear is not your target.
  5. Open Boosts / Inventory after claims. After Gifts, codes, or Shop claims, open the Boosts or inventory tab to see what you received before activating a timer.

World milestones

Clear the river end to open a World, Rebirth to keep pace, and clear later Worlds sooner with steady early play.

FAQ

What is Rebirth?

A reset that returns level and Skill to 1 in exchange for a permanent Skill multiplier and a higher level cap. Stones and pets stay.

How do I perform a Rebirth?

Train until the percent under the Rebirth button reads 100%. Open the Rebirth menu from that button and confirm Rebirth.

Do Rebirth, stone, and pet bonuses stack?

Yes. Rebirth permanent multipliers, stone additives, and pet multipliers all stack. Use all three together.

Should I wait after hitting 100%?

No. The game will not raise Skill past the level cap. Rebirth immediately so training time is not wasted.

Is the Skill reset a real setback?

Usually not. With stones, pets, and the new Rebirth multiplier, auto-train often returns you past the previous cap in minutes or seconds.

How do river zones affect Wins?

Zones are distance markers along the river. The farther zone your stone reaches before sinking, the more Wins you earn.

How do I unlock the next World?

Throw far enough to clear the final zone on the current river. The next World then opens with higher Skill needs, better rewards, and new stone and pet lines.

What does World 4 mean?

Promo codes like WORLD4 track World milestones. In-game, each World is the next map after you clear the current river end. Names and shop lines change per World. Rebirths and Wins spend can reach later Worlds in one sitting; time depends on your stones, pets, and pads.

How long do potions and timed chips last?

Skill, Win, and Luck potions last about 10 minutes. Timed 2x Skill and 2x Win chips use the HUD timer. Activate them only when you can play through the window.

What is Friend Boost?

A HUD percentage that can sit at +0% or rise when friends share your server (about +10% is common). Read your own value and keep other gear fixed when testing it.

Do river throws also train Skill?

Yes. Side pools and Skill pads are the steady auto-train path. River throws add Skill per bounce and pay Wins when the stone sinks.
