An EF5 Tornado Hits Your Street (Common)
Ironcliff Penitentiary. A waterspout forms offshore, then a second funnel drops and churns across the sea. Stay out of its path.
Rain for 1,000 Years (Common)
Thrill Park. Year 5 of endless rain; the coastline is gone. Stay on high ground while the park floods.
City-Killer Asteroid (Common)
Kingdom. An asteroid fills half the sky about 100 km out. The air roars as it plunges toward the horizon. Hide behind a wall.
Mega Tsunami (Common)
Harbor Port. After the first drain, a second wave builds about 60 meters high on the horizon. Stay on high ground.
Earth Freezes Over (Common)
Hoover Dam. The sun fades, thick snow falls, and daylight goes pale at about -5°C. Find somewhere warm.
Yellowstone Erupts (Common)
Canyon Town. Ground at Yellowstone rises about +2 meters as magma pushes up with hundreds of small quakes.
All Ice Melts (Common)
Camp Murkwater. Sea level rises about +34 meters; ground floors go under and the water keeps climbing around 41°C. Stay on high ground.
Earth Enters a Mega Storm (Common)
Alpine Ski Resort. The city has lost power; every light goes out at once and signs and trees tumble down the streets. Avoid open areas.
Earth Spins Backwards (Rare)
Arctic Station. Earth brakes hard while the air keeps moving east around 459 km/h. Loose things fly. Stay inside.
Sinkholes (Rare)
Venice. Old tunnels under the main road cave in and tear the city in two. Stay off the road while buildings drop.
The Sun Disappears (Rare)
Thrill Park. Instant night in the middle of the day; stars come out around 13°C. Find somewhere warm.
The Atmosphere Disappears (Rare)
Harbor Port. With so little air pressure, the oceans boil away even when cold. Temperature plunges to about -40°C. Stay in the room.
The Greatest Solar Flare (Rare)
Hoover Dam. Outside radiation hits about 400x normal. Melting stops, but open air still glows around 34°C. Stay under a roof.
The Oceans Disappear (Rare)
Kingdom. A salt storm rolls in off the old sea floor at about 52°C. Hide behind a wall when it hits.
Oxygen Doubles (Rare)
Thrill Park. Oxygen spikes and one lightning bolt sets the streets on fire. In air this rich, everything catches. Find shelter above ground.
Magnitude 10 Earthquake (Extreme)
Kingdom. Buildings collapse across the map. When the ground stills, the skyline is rubble and dust. Stay away from the road.
Black Hole Flyby (Extreme)
Starlight Drive-In. A black hole passes thousands of kilometers away. Windows crack, trees bend skyward, and the sea climbs the shore. Get inside and hold on.
The Moon Falls (Extreme)
Jungle Temple Ruins. The moon cracks across half the sky; gravity tears it open and burning rocks break off. Stay on high ground.
Earth Tilts 90 Degrees (Extreme)
Ironcliff Penitentiary. The world tips sideways. Tall towers cannot take the pull and crash down the slope. Stay against the wall.
Planet Flyby (Extreme)
Suburban Neighborhood. A planet passes close, then pulls away. Earth's gravity snaps back and floating debris falls. Head to the bottom floor.
Every Volcano Erupts (Extreme)
Canyon Town. Lava creeps up the shore under ash-dark skies. Day turns to night around 46°C. Get off the ground.
The Biggest Bomb Ever (Extreme)
Hoover Dam. Radioactive fallout arrives; dust from the cloud falls back on the city and every speck is radioactive. Keep a roof above your head. Index prestige: Survive it 5 times.
Zombie Outbreak (Impossible)
Hoover Dam. Infection climbs into the thousands. The dead claw up at the edge of town while cars crash and burn. Find some place safe.
The Floor Is Lava (Impossible)
Tulip Windmill. The sky turns red and rock melts under the streets. Get off the ground before the timer hits zero.
The Witching Hour
Arctic Station. A giant creature grows past 55 ft, towers over houses, and crushes small buildings as it walks. Run for your life.
The Kaiju
Harbor Port. A kaiju fires Atomic Breath, a narrowed fire beam that slices the tops off buildings.
