How to play: beginner guide
Lobby join, round flow, survival tips, Index prestige, Missions, and THE SHOP.
First session
Stand on the lobby pad, use the 30s map warm-up to scout routes, then survive as the disaster intensifies. You start with 100 HP. After the round, claim Missions, check Index prestige, and open THE SHOP.
Lobby
Wooden lounge with the Disaster Archive desk, NEXT DISASTER countdown over the fireplace, and the left sidebar for Shop, AFK, Missions, and Index.

Core loop
Lobby, enter simulation, warm-up, staged disaster, results, then spend Credits or claim Missions.
| Step | Notes |
|---|---|
| Lobby | NEXT DISASTER countdown. Open SHOP, MISSIONS, INDEX, or AFK from the sidebar. |
| Enter | Stand on the center pad. You get ENTERING SIMULATION. |
| Warm-up | About 30s on the map (DISASTER IN timer). Check cars and buildings while the scenario is still hidden. |
| Disaster | WHAT IF… banner names the catastrophe. Follow yellow HUD prompts as stages escalate. |
| Results | ROUND ENDS, survivors listed, then Credits / XP / Survivor Level and back to lobby. |
Checklist
Join, warm up, read the HUD, claim Missions and Index prestige, then shop.
- Join and ready up. Enter the place, wait for NEXT DISASTER, then stand on the lobby pad so you teleport with the round.
- Use the warm-up. During the 30s map timer, learn exits and high ground. Vehicles help you move. They are not safe zones.
- Read the yellow prompts. When the disaster starts, move when the HUD changes (SAFE to HIGH, flood stages, debris). Ignoring the prompt gets you killed.
- Claim Missions and Index. Daily Missions give three rotating objectives. Surviving a new scenario unlocks it on your Index. Survive a scenario five times to prestige it for more XP and Credits from that disaster.
- Spend Credits in THE SHOP. Buy Equipment with Credits. Learn routes and HUD prompts before you shop. Unlock Titles from achievements. Buy Boosts or Fright Night crates with Robux.
Survival tips
Match cover to the hazard, adjust when stages change, and prestige Index entries for better payouts.
- Pick a plan that lasts the whole round. Disasters intensify over time. A spot that works in stage one can fail later. Watch the yellow descriptions and move when the hazard changes.
- Match shelter to the disaster. Some scenarios punish open ground and want thick walls or indoor cover. Others push you away from the epicenter or up to high ground. Read the HUD instead of copying the crowd.
- Stay out of the lethal zone. You start with 100 HP. Use it as backup while you move to cover, not as a reason to stand in the hazard.
- Prestige each Index entry. After you survive a disaster five times, prestige it on the Index for better XP and Credits from that scenario. Each entry prestiges on its own.
Daily Missions
Three daily slots with a reset timer. One set: Survive a flood-type event, Use 3 interactables, Experience 5 disasters. Claimed rows show CLAIMED after you take the reward.

Common mistakes
Habits that wipe early rounds or slow progress.
- Ignoring HUD stage changes. If you stand still after a prompt flip, tides, quakes, or debris will wipe you fast.
- Treating cars as shelters. Cars help you relocate. They do not stop drowning, freezing, or impact stages.
- Skipping Index and Missions. Index tracks which disasters you have cleared, feeds Titles, and tracks Survive it 5 times prestige. Daily Missions pay Credits and XP when you claim them.
- Buying gear before learning routes. Learn the map and the yellow prompts first. Then spend Credits on Equipment.
