Tier list overview

Unit and trait S–D rankings plus beginner build order. Rankings assume evolved, well-traited units in the right lane role.

S through D are Bloxron rankings for August 2026, not an in-game label. We weight Raids, Infinite scaling, Yen deploy cost, and fusion routes heavier than early Story burst. Unit names and kits are on the characters guide, roll traits from the traits page, and slot gear only on units you still field weekly.

How we rank

Wave scaling through Raids and Infinite Mode matters more than Story-only burst.
Yen deploy cost and fusion paths count, a top DPS you cannot afford early is ranked with that in mind.
Anti-air, economy, and support slots are rated on how often they fix real lane leaks.
Trait pairings are listed separately; a B-tier unit with Superior can outpace a naked S-tier pull.

Account build order

Lobby perk Maximum Yen before any expensive banner pull, see the progression guide.
Fastwagon as soon as he appears. Yen income gates every other deploy.
Goki (SSJ4 Full Power) for flying waves and the Gometa fusion route.
Vegata (SSJ4 Full Power) as the second fusion leg; keep both leveled even if Gometa is weeks away.
Shinks (Emperor) when content starts two-shotting your front line; swap to Shinks (Red Hair) when Update 5 amp is online.
After Update 1.0: pick Invasion (Broly) or banner Gogeta chase, not both on day one.
After Update 1.5: banner Tanjiro if you want a predictable Mythic lane; farm Mugen Train Act 4 only when Akaza is your endgame Secret.
After Update 1.75: farm Yukimura from Ghoul City Ch.1 before chasing Kan (Ghoul) or Meto (One Eyed).
After Update 2.0: clear Ninja Village Act 4 for Madora before dumping Gems on banner Secrets.
After Update 2.5: farm Crusader Desert with Green / Red / Yellow carries, buy a Mythic awaken hat before Secret pity.
After Update 3.0: unlock Goju (Six Eyes) and Sakuna before swapping your main carry. JJK codes are expired.
After Update 3.5: open Devil Capsules for Asta and spend Yol on Asto (Black), then optional Yano / Yomi.
After Update 4.0: raise Michigo (Horn of Salvation), Shadow (Atomic), and Yubacha (The Almighty) before swapping your main carry.
After Update 4.5: redeem any leftover codes, then keep Update 4 unit investments until Update 5 units outperform them on the same stage. Those promo strings expired with Update 5.0.
After Update 5.0: redeem UPD5.0!, DrumsOfLiberation!, GEAR5!, and SryForSillyBugs first. Farm Oniganshina Corrupted for Zaro (Weno) or Basic Banner pity for Muffy (Nika). Prioritize Shinks (Red Hair) as the free damage amp before cubing every new A-tier pirate unit.

Late-game lane layout

Best overall (Update 5). Michigo (Horn of Salvation) + Muffy (Gear 5) + Shinks (Red Hair) + Yubacha (The Almighty) + Nazaka (Berserk) + Fastwagon. Swap Nazaka for Shadow or Zaro on short, safe stages.
Pirate core. Muffy (Gear 5) Lead with Shinks (Red Hair), Zaro (King Of Hell), Kaidu (King of Beasts), Big Beard (Young), and Big Mum (Emperor). Swap Big Mum / Big Beard for Nazaka or Fastwagon when sustain or Yen is the wall.
Boss / gimmick. Asto (Black) + Michigo + Zaro + Ramuru (Dragon) + Shinks (Red Hair) + Yubacha. Flex Tsanada in when a revive matters more than raw single-target.
Primary lane. Zaro (King Of Hell), Muffy (Gear 5), Michigo (Horn of Salvation), Shadow (Atomic), Ramuru (Dragon), Jyn (Monkey King), Yubacha (The Almighty), Asto (Black), or older carries depending on your investment path.
Support. Shinks (Red Hair) for permanent map-wide amp; Nazaka (Berserk) when sustain is the wall; Meto (One Eyed) for Analysed/Alert bosses.
Frontline. Yubacha for hard taunt; Kaidu for the 20% HP last-stand window; Shadow (Atomic) or Garu as flex tanks.
Economy slot. Fastwagon so premium Update 5 deploys reach the field before bosses spawn.
Flex. Big Beard (Young) or Bambi for crowded waves; Synji on Burn teams with Yumamoto; Chin Li for hop-clear speed farms; Goki on anti-air if flyers leak.

FAQ

Are these tiers official?

No. S through D are Bloxron rankings for October 2026 based on mode coverage and investment payoff for Update 5.0 Oniganshina (Celestial Zaro, Divine Muffy Gear 5, Shinks Red Hair, Ramuru Dragon, and the pirate A-tier wave) plus the Update 4 Bleach roster. Capsule, JJK, Crusader Desert, and earlier routes still count. The game does not publish an in-game tier list.

Muffy (Gear 5) or Michigo as the first Update 5 cube dump?

Michigo stays the safest all-purpose carry if you already built him. Muffy is the better team engine once Gear 5 is online because Awakening turns every ally basic into map-wide hits. Bank Strawhat / Rubber Core before moving Perfect Cubes off Michigo.

Shinks (Red Hair) or Lacy (Hacker) for damage amp?

Red Hair. Permanent map-wide +20% damage taken and −20% Dodge while deployed beats Lacy’s 15-second Quickhack windows for most endgame lanes. Keep Lacy when Accuracy cuts or clustered Quickhack spreads matter more.

Banner Gogeta or Gometa (SSJ4)?

Gometa is the fusion route from Goki + Vegata with Primal Core, more predictable long-term. Banner Gogeta is a 0.005% Divine chase with a separate quest line; only commit cubes if you accept extreme banner RNG.

Broly or Garu (Half Monster) for frontline?

Garu for debuff teams and stun redirect without Invasion grinding. Broly (Divine) after the full Broly Gear set and quest checklist, higher ceiling but needs Invasion Mode repeat clears.

Gometa or Woo (Shadow) for a single carry?

Gometa for all-round Story and Raid push with simpler gear demands. Woo wins extended Infinite sessions where shadow soldiers snowball mana, but needs Monarch Daggers and banner luck.

Kan (Ghoul) or Akaza (Upper Moon) for bosses?

Kan (Ghoul) wins long boss timers where Bleed cuts regen and stacks snowball. Akaza (Upper Moon) still shines on Mugen Train lanes you already invested in, pick the unit that matches your mat farm, not both on day one of 1.75.

Do I reroll traits before upgrading units?

Get one acceptable trait on your main lane first (Lethal or Entrepreneur is fine), then chase top S-tier traits on units you will keep post-fusion. Moving traits later costs more shards than locking a budget roll early.

Why is Fastwagon A-tier without damage?

He is the only dedicated Yen printer. Without him, top S-tier units sit in the bench menu while waves overrun your meatshield line, economy is a combat stat in this game, even if he is not a full carry slot.

When do C and D units leave the roster?

Replace them once any B-tier or higher pull covers that lane. Android and Super Baby bridge mid-1.0, but D-tier starters still should not receive Stat Cubes.

How do I get Update 2.0 shinobi units?

Madora (Gunbai) farms from Ninja Village Squadron Act 4. Rizzuto (Sage) and Karashi (Sharingan) are banner pulls. Shinobi crafts lean on Leaf Village story mats like Genjutsu Fog Vial and Shinobi Bone for Ninja set pieces.

Should I chase Asto (Black) or Crusader Secrets first?

Bank Yol and awaken Asto (Black) before hard-pitying Diro or Update 4 Secrets. Keep farming Desert hats only if your account already owns a Platinum-ready Jotoro plan.
