Build A Ring Farm Bees — Hive, Honey & Passives
Update 7 bee hive roster — passives, Honey rolls vs Bee Merchant unlocks, hive upgrades, duplicate leveling, and fastest Honey farming routes.
By Bloxron Editorial Team · Last updated
Update 7 adds a parallel Bee Hive economy to Build A Ring Farm. Place bees in your hive, let them gather Nectar from planted crops, and convert the haul into Honey — the event currency for rolls, hive upgrades, and permanent milestone rewards.
Every bee also grants a passive farm bonus while flying. Pair earnings bees with high base-income crops from the seeds database, stack mutations on Outer plots, and read the Update 7 guide for Queen Bee Event Honey Pot odds.
Hive loop at a glance
- Claim a free Worker Bee from the Beekeeper NPC in front of your garden.
- Place every bee you own inside the Hive — idle inventory bees produce nothing.
- Bees fly over crops, fill independent Nectar bars, return home, and auto-convert to Honey.
- Spend Honey at the Bee Rolling Station for random bees, or at the Bee Merchant (map center) for hive upgrades and permanent milestone bees.

Hive upgrades
Buy hive upgrades from the Bee Merchant with Honey. These are the highest-impact early spend after filling your first bee slots.
| Upgrade | Effect | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Hive capacity | Hold more bees in the hive at once | Bee Merchant (Honey) |
| Production speed | Bees fill Nectar bars and complete trips faster | Bee Merchant (Honey) |
| Honey yield | More Honey deposited per Nectar conversion | Bee Merchant (Honey) |
Earn Honey faster
| Action | Why it helps |
|---|---|
| Fill the hive completely | Bees in inventory produce zero Honey — every slot must be occupied. |
| Plant the whole ring farm | Bees reach crops faster and spend less time crossing empty plots. |
| Upgrade duplicates instead of selling | Higher-level bees finish Nectar trips sooner and deposit more Honey per run. |
| Buy hive upgrades early | Capacity, speed, and yield upgrades are the biggest long-term Honey lever. |
| Check the Bee Merchant daily | Permanent milestone bees and rotating stock sell out during the event window. |
Duplicate bees
Rolling a bee you already own gives a duplicate. Feed it into the existing bee to level up — stronger bees gather Nectar faster and deposit more Honey per trip. Selling returns a small Honey refund but is usually worse than upgrading unless you are one purchase away from a merchant milestone.
FAQ
How do I start the Bee Event in Build A Ring Farm?
Talk to the Beekeeper NPC in front of your garden. He gives a free Worker Bee that kicks off the Nectar → Honey loop once placed in the hive.
Why is my hive not producing Honey?
Bees only work when placed inside the hive. Inventory bees are idle. Also keep crops planted around the hive so bees fill Nectar bars on shorter flight paths.
What should I spend Honey on first?
Prioritize hive upgrades for capacity and speed, then roll at the Bee Rolling Station for earnings and utility bees. Save surplus Honey for permanent milestone bees at the Bee Merchant.
Should I sell duplicate bees?
Usually no. Feed duplicates into your existing bee to level it — upgraded bees gather Nectar faster and deposit more Honey. Only sell when you need a quick Honey top-up for a specific merchant unlock.
Which bee passives are confirmed?
Worker Bee (+2 Honey per deposit), Garden Bee (+10% earnings / 25s), Harvest Bee (+15% earnings / 25s), and Fertiliser Bee (10% random fertilize proc) are confirmed in-game. Higher-tier passives unlock in the collection UI as you progress.
What is the difference between rolling bees and permanent bees?
Honey rolls at the Bee Rolling Station grant common-to-rare bees for the current event. Permanent bees unlock at Bee Merchant milestones and stay on your account after the event ends — they are the highest long-term value.
How does the Queen Bee Event relate to hive bees?
The Queen Bee Event is a separate five-minute playable event with honeycomb collection and Honey Pot spins. Hive bees produce Honey currency passively; the event awards Honey Tokens for time skips, Honeysuckle seeds, and Honeycomb fertilizer.
Game balance may change after updates. Values marked Unknown are not yet confirmed in-game. Redeem codes and harvest once to confirm rewards after each patch.
