How ants work
Roll at the Ant Queen, buy keepers, place them in doorways for food, level holes, and claim Index milestones. Higher rarity and Mutations raise output. Vine adds Leaf Mutation rolls; Spider King feeds the pet hatch loop.
How to bank an ant
Roll, buy keepers, place in doorways, level holes, claim Index rewards.
- Roll at the Ant Queen. Interact to roll eggs for free. Read rarity and any Mutation on the podium before you buy.
- Buy keepers only. Spend Cash on higher rarity or mutated ants. Skip weak Commons if a better hatch is on the podium and you can afford it.
- Place into colony doorways. Assigned ants produce food. Legendary doors can show a yellow look. Buy Colony expansion when you need another door.
- Level the hole and claim Index. Upgrade the doorway on keepers after you lock them in. New ants and Mutations fill the Index for one-time rewards.
Rarity and mutation table
Eight main rarities climb from Common through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, Exotic, and Secret. Common is the default Ant Queen roll for your first door; Rare and Epic are the early cash keepers; Legendary and Mythical raise food hard but make hole levels expensive; Exotic and Secret are late podium buys you bank Cash for. Any rarity can also roll Mutated with an EFF multiplier such as Leaf, Rainbow, or Starlight. Buy the podium ant that lifts food value for the Cash you have, not the lowest Common still sitting empty.
| Tier | Note |
|---|---|
| Common | Default Ant Queen roll; fine for the first door |
| Uncommon | Early step up once Egg luck starts landing |
| Rare | Stronger food value; buy when Cash covers the podium |
| Epic | Mid colony keepers; worth a reserved door |
| Legendary | High output; hole levels get expensive |
| Mythical | Late colony priority once Cash covers the podium |
| Exotic | Top main-path rarity before Secret hunts |
| Secret | High-end podium buys; bank Cash before chasing |
| Mutated | Any rarity can roll with a Mutation EFF multiplier (Leaf, Rainbow, Starlight, and others) |
Ant samples list
Four sample roles, not a full species catalog. The Common starter opens food income on the first door. Leaf Mountain hatches come from the Vine climb roll pad and target Leaf Mutation. Starlight keepers carry a high EFF Mutation and should stay off the mount trainer. Higher-rarity hatches from Legendary through Secret set late colony income once Cash covers the podium.
| Name | Note |
|---|---|
| Common starter | Default first hatch from the Ant Queen; place it to start food income |
| Leaf Mountain hatch | Vine climb roll pad targets Leaf Mutation ants; buy keepers you can afford |
| Starlight keeper | Starlight Mutation multiplies EFF; keep these ants off the mount trainer |
| Higher-rarity hatch | Legendary through Secret podium buys set late income; rarity is the fast read |
Event ant tips
Climb Vine for Leaf rolls, fight Spider King for pets, and deposit Starfall stars when those events are live.
- Climb Vine / Leaf Mountain. Use the vine parkour when the event is up. The top pad rolls Leaf Mutation ants. Re-climb if you fall.
- Fight King of Spider. Enter the Spider King dungeon with your colony. Click during rounds to raise damage. Exit when you have pet coins or eggs, then hatch pets at base.
- Deposit Starfall stars. Pick up star drops and turn them in at the Starfall deposit. Server progress unlocks shared rewards.
Pet hatch steps
Earn pet coins or eggs in Spider King, hatch at base, equip earning or speed boosts.
- Earn pet coins in the dungeon. Clear Spider King rounds until pet coins or a pet egg drop.
- Place or hatch the pet egg at home. Use the pet egg interface at your base. Hatch when the live requirement is met.
- Equip the pet boost. Pets raise earning or ant speed. Equip earning when Cash is slow, or speed when ants take too long on routes.
Mount tips
Training removes the ant forever; a flyer still leaves the doorway empty. Nest teleport covers most travel.
- Mount training removes the ant from colony doorways whether training succeeds or fails.
- A successful mount can fly or hover, but that ant no longer works a doorway.
- Use nest teleport for travel instead of sacrificing a top producer early.
FAQ
How do I get new ants?
Roll at the Ant Queen, then buy the ant from its podium with Cash. Vine / Leaf Mountain adds Mutation-focused rolls when that event is live.
What rarities exist?
Common through Secret on the main ladder, with Mutations on top. Special Super eggs also appear on some rolls. This page lists sample roles, not every species name.
What does the Index do?
It tracks discovered ants and Mutations and grants one-time milestone rewards. Claim them when a threshold unlocks.
How do pets work?
Spider King runs drop pet coins and pet eggs. Hatch at your base and equip boosts that help speed or earnings.
Should I turn ants into mounts?
Not while that ant is a strong producer. Training consumes the ant forever.
