Defend Ur Base With Anime Beginner Guide

First session: Cash Multiplier, Base Size, merges, Trait Machine, and Wave 50 prep before mutation spam.

By Bloxron Editorial Team · Last updated

Defend Ur Base With Anime is a Roblox tower defense by One Billion Six Seven: villains hit your base in waves, you roll fighters, place them on a grid, earn Cash from kills, then grow through merges, traits, and mutations. Your first session should lock Cash Multiplier and Base Size before you chase rare rolls.

Clear a clean early wave block with one merged carry, buy Cash Multiplier then Base Size, and learn the Trait Machine on the far-left lobby — not spam every gacha button.

First session steps

  1. Survive the opening waves with Cash focus

Place your first fighters and let kills fund the lobby. Prefer upgrades that raise Cash per kill over random new unit names while slots are empty.

  2. Buy Cash Multiplier, then Base Size

Cash Multiplier is the top early upgrade because it funds everything else. Base Size comes next for extra unit slots. Save Luck Multiplier for when you are ready to chase rarer rolls and mutations.

  3. Merge matching duplicates

Drag one fighter onto a duplicate with the same name and the same mutation. Merges level the survivor and unlock abilities. A Gold unit will not merge with an unmutated copy.

  4. Find the Trait Machine

It sits on the far-left side of the lobby near the Sell Shop. Select a unit, spend Trait Shards, and roll one trait. Each fighter holds one trait and one mutation at the same time; bonuses stack.

  5. Plan Waves 20–50 before endgame gacha

Trait your frontline DPS, merge duplicates before rerolling new names, then raise Luck before mutation-event spam. Hourly mutation windows and Titan timing are covered on the mutations wiki page.

  6. Use codes after the loop makes sense

Redeem live batches from the codes page once you know where Cash, shards, and spins go. Do not treat expired update codes as active without checking the codes list.

Common beginner mistakes

  • Spreading rolls across empty slots instead of merging one Rare/Epic carry
  • Buying Luck Multiplier before Cash Multiplier and Base Size
  • Trying to merge the same name with different mutations
  • Rerolling traits on weak unmutated fillers instead of your merged DPS
  • Chasing Wave 50+ mutation events before your economy upgrades are online

Beginner FAQ

What should I upgrade first?

Cash Multiplier first, Base Size second, then Luck Multiplier when you are ready to chase rarer rolls and mutations.

How does merging work for beginners?

Drag one fighter onto another with the same name and the same mutation. The merge consumes the copies and strengthens the survivor. Different mutations of the same name cannot merge.

Where do I roll traits?

Use the Trait Machine on the far-left lobby near the Sell Shop. Spend Trait Shards on a selected unit. One trait per fighter; it stacks with that unit’s mutation.

Can a unit have both a trait and a mutation?

Yes. They are separate slots and stack. Roll strong traits onto units that already have strong mutations when you can.

How do I push Wave 50?

Keep Cash and Base Size healthy, merge a Legendary or Mythic DPS line, trait the carry, then use Luck during mutation events. Details live on the units, traits, and mutations pages.

Where do codes fit in?

Codes grant Cash, shards, or spins after drops. Always verify the codes page for live vs expired strings before redeeming.
