Jobs change how you regain Sanity, move faster, or fight back — buy and equip in the lobby Class Shop.

Classes swap how you recover Sanity, move, or fight — they do not replace knowing the desk check. Buy or equip jobs on the class selection screen in the lobby before you queue a shift. Animal Coin jobs are cheaper to unlock over time; Robux jobs bundle inventory or weapons.
Psychologist note
Doubles every Sanity change — buffs hit harder, but anomaly scares and hazard drain hurt twice as much. Only pick this if you already know Threats well.

Paramedic starts with Large Speed Cola (6 uses) for short speed bursts. Run Faster from the Supplies Shop does something similar if you skip the 250-coin unlock. Secret Agent's gun is for Skin Walkers and similar interior threats — most map hazards ignore gunfire (see Threats).
Equip steps
- Lobby → classes zone (left side, near the ambulance area).
- Open Class Shop.
- Buy with Animal Coins or Robux if needed.
- Equip before starting a shift.
- Classes change perks and starting gear — your shift model stays the intern-style outfit.
- Class name shows in the lobby and near your Sanity meter during a run.
