S through D are Bloxron rankings for July 2026 — not an in-game label. Perks, costs, and upgrade levels are on the classes guide; desk tells stay on Anomalies. No class replaces knowing when to hit Shutters.

- Desk rejection skill matters more than raw perk numbers — classes cannot fix bad Shutters timing.
- We weight Sanity sustainability on long shifts, hallway treatment tempo, and missed-reject cleanup.
- Animal Coin cost and Robux spend factor in — a B-tier job you can afford now beats an S-tier you cannot upgrade.
- Three class upgrade levels strengthen each perk; rankings assume you invest in the job you equip nightly.

Animal Coin unlock order
- Intern (free) — first shifts only.
- Secretary or Nurse — Secretary if you hold the window; Nurse for one extra slot cheaply.
- Doctor — steady Sanity while you learn treatment rooms.
- Security — when Skin Walkers slip past Shutters more than once per shift.
- Firefighter — optional at 1,100 coins if fire and slime nights eat your runs.
- Surgeon — main Animal Coin sink for hallway mains.
- Paramedic — optional if you sprint between wings more than you heal.
- Psychologist — only after you read Threats and can avoid double Sanity losses.
- Head Nurse / Secret Agent — Robux bundles when co-op inventory or gun starts justify the spend.
FAQ
Are these tiers official?
No. S through D are Bloxron rankings for July 2026 based on shift role fit and coin payoff — not an in-game tier list. Refresh after major Class Update patches.
Why is Surgeon S-tier but Secretary only A?
Surgeon pays off on every healed patient across eight rooms on long nights. Secretary is A-tier because it only shines when you already read Anomalies well — desk skill caps its value.
Is Secret Agent the best class?
Only for interior cleanup. The Gun works on Skin Walkers and similar threats — most map hazards and Tentacle Surgery ignore gunfire. See the Threats guide before buying for combat.
Why is Psychologist C-tier?
It doubles every Sanity gain and loss. Strong players who rarely eat hazard drain can snowball; everyone else loses runs faster than Intern.
Do class upgrade levels change the ranking?
Higher upgrade tiers strengthen the same perk — Surgeon and Doctor climb with levels, but their relative order stays the same for most accounts.
Intern vs Nurse for early game?
Intern's +10 starting Sanity helps shift one. Nurse's extra slot pays off once you carry multiple hallway items — usually after Secretary or Doctor is online.
Will rankings change after the July 2026 update?
Harlow's Favorite gave Secret Agent a starting Scanner and Security levels 2–3 a Deployable Camera. Hazmat added Firefighter for fire and slime nights — still B-tier next to Security for most lobbies. Desk tells on Anomalies still matter more than the new job alone.
