Silver, Gold, Rainbow, Bloom, Sakura Bloom, Fractured, Scrambled, Monstrous, and Luminous: how each mutation lands and what it does to pen income.

Mutations raise pen income on top of a pet's Index base and any size roll. Silver, Gold, and Rainbow can land on map hatches or from Fuse. Bloom and Sakura Bloom come only from the Sakura Incubator in Cherry Blossom. Fractured is a Boss Shop buy after Rift Overlord fights. Scrambled is a limited Experiment Shop tube for unhatched pen eggs (through September 26, 2026; 10% apply chance). Monstrous came from Hungry Frog Monster Chests (Aug 29 to Sep 5, 2026) on Titan Temple pets. Mecha was a rare Monster Egg hatch variant; Luminous is the rare 10× roll on Luminous Egg shop hatches.

Boost figures below are approximate. The same mutation can read different % gains on different species because pet size and weight change how much cash the Index base actually earns.

- Larger or off-color eggs in a nest often carry a mutation. Compare against neighboring eggs before you grab one
- The Fuse machine sits on the left side of the starting area, before you enter the biomes. Feed three of the same species
- Pets that already earn above their Index base improve Silver, Gold, and Rainbow luck on Fuse. Skip feeding three weak commons when you have a strong donor
- Rainbow and Sakura Bloom are the rarer permanent rolls, so they usually pay more when they land
- Sakura Bloom is the highest permanent incubator boost. Charge Sakura eggs to 150% when you are chasing it
- Silver, Gold, or Rainbow eggs can still enter the Sakura Incubator; Bloom or Sakura Bloom can stack on that roll
- Fractured is bought with Boss Tokens after clearing map Rifts, not rolled from Sakura or map nests
- Scrambled comes from the Dr. Scramble Experiment Shop. Buy it with Samples and use it on an unhatched egg in a pen for a 10% apply chance
- Monstrous only applies to Titan Temple pets and came from the limited Hungry Frog event (Aug 29 to Sep 5, 2026)
- Mecha came from Monster Egg hatches before that shop egg was retired. Luminous Egg is the current shop replacement
- Do not fuse pets carrying Rainbow, Sakura Bloom, Fractured, Scrambled, Monstrous, Mecha, or Luminous unless you accept losing the variant on the output
- A mutated pet from a mid-tier species can out-earn a plain pet from a higher rarity
Sakura Incubator
The Sakura Incubator sits at the back of Cherry Blossom. Offer a Crane pet once to unlock it permanently, then charge inventory eggs with Sakura Crystals from the Great Bloom event for Bloom or Sakura Bloom mutations.
Unlock steps
- Hatch a Crane from a Cherry Blossom nest egg (plan for about 3.5B Speed on the steal, above the 2.5B gate readout)
- Target the common Epic look: pink-topped shell with dark purple bands around the middle. Crane is the most common Cherry Blossom Epic
- Carry the Crane to the Sakura Incubator at the end of the zone
- Submit the Crane, the unlock is permanent, but that pet is consumed
- Hatch another Crane later if you need a fresh one; size and mutations on the offer do not matter
Great Bloom event
- Runs on server time every 30 minutes in Cherry Blossom
- Lasts about three minutes, stay in-zone before the notification so you do not waste travel time
- After unlock, a timer above the Sakura Incubator shows when the next Great Bloom starts
- Crystal Cherry Blossom Trees spawn; equip your bat and hit them for Sakura Crystals
- Farm crystals during the window; you need a large stack before mutating high-tier eggs
Mutating eggs
- Place an egg from your inventory into the unlocked Incubator (hatched pets cannot be mutated here)
- Eggs that already show Silver, Gold, or Rainbow can still go in; Bloom or Sakura Bloom can stack on top of that regular mutation
- Deposit Sakura Crystals to fill the charge meter
- At 100% charge the egg mutates, about 97.5% Bloom, 2.5% Sakura Bloom on that roll
- Charge to 150% (max) when you are hunting Sakura Bloom; higher charge improves the rare outcome but does not guarantee it
- Roughly 1,000 crystals fills a 100% charge on many eggs; about 1,500 crystals pushes toward the 150% max charge when chasing Sakura Bloom

FAQ
Which mutations can hatch from map eggs?
Silver, Gold, and Rainbow can appear when you hatch a map egg, or when you run three matching pets through Fuse. Bloom and Sakura Bloom need the Sakura Incubator.
Where is the Fuse machine?
On the left side of the starting area, before the biome gates. You need three pets of the same type. Stronger income donors raise the chance of Silver, Gold, or Rainbow on the output.
Are the multipliers exact?
No. Treat the table as approximate. The same Silver (or other) label can show different cash gains on different pets because size and weight change how much the Index base actually pays.
How do I get Scrambled?
Buy the Scrambled tube in the Dr. Scramble Experiment Shop with Samples (through September 26, 2026), then use it on an unhatched egg in a pen. It has a 10% apply chance.
Is Monstrous still available?
No new Monstrous rolls. The Hungry Frog Monster Chest window ran Aug 29 to Sep 5, 2026. Pets that already have Monstrous keep it.
What is the strongest permanent mutation?
Sakura Bloom is the highest permanent incubator boost (~3×). Luminous is a ~10× shop-egg roll and is separate from Sakura.
How do I recognize a Crane egg?
In Cherry Blossom, look for a pink-topped egg with dark purple bands through the middle. Crane is Epic at $4K/s and the most common Epic hatch from that biome.
Do I lose my Crane after unlocking the Incubator?
Yes. The Crane is consumed when you submit it. The machine stays unlocked forever, hatch another Cherry Blossom egg when you need a replacement.
Can I mutate eggs already in my garden pens?
No. Pull the egg into your inventory first, then load it into the Sakura Incubator. Mutations apply before you hatch.
How many Sakura Crystals do I need?
About 1,000 crystals often fills 100% charge. Closer to 1,500 helps push the meter toward 150% when you are chasing Sakura Bloom. Watch the Incubator meter before you commit.
How often is Great Bloom?
About every 30 minutes on server time, with a three-minute crystal farming window. After you unlock the Incubator, read the timer above the machine for the next start, and wait in Cherry Blossom before the alert so you can bat trees immediately.
Can I Sakura-mutate an egg that already has Silver, Gold, or Rainbow?
Yes. Load that unhatched egg into the Incubator as usual. Bloom or Sakura Bloom can apply on top of the regular mutation you already see on the shell.
